1st LSD Trip - 125ug - Life changing 1

Hello friends of shroomery,
Tonight I embarked upon my most life-altering drug experience yet. I'm still coming down off of the trip, so if my thoughts seem rather disjointed then attribute that to the LSD.
It's around 8:00 PM and I take one tab of my five-strip of LSD. Supposedly, each hit is 125ug so I'm just going to assume that that is what I was taking. I stick it under my tongue, refill my water bottle, and come back to my room. I'm fresh out of the shower in my pajamas ready to have a good night. I had a whole lot of pre-trip anxiety so I put on some of my favorite songs, starting with My Sweet Love by George Harrison. The songs were definitely helping to quell the feelings of anxiety I had going into the trip.
I was nodding off a little bit, and then around 30 or 40 minutes later I felt the trip coming on. It came up really fast and pretty suddenly, and it was scary at first, but it soon became very comfortable. I was very surprised at how different this felt compared to shrooms. On psilocybin, my thoughts are extremely introspective and "serious" I guess. On LSD my thoughts kind of ran wild, and I just thought about all sorts of hypothetical circumstances. For a moment I felt a little concerned that I wouldn't be able to bring myself back to a normal thought pattern.
After a while I got bored of music and listening to my own thoughts run rampant, so I got on YouTube and watched videos of people high on whatever they give to numb the pain of wisdom teeth removals. (Ketamine?) For who knows how long, I was smiling and laughing hysterically. This is when I really started to notice the visual hallucinations going crazy. Just as on shrooms, I would see all sorts of faces in everything. In the shadows on my floor I saw George Harrison and Jim Morrisons' faces. The covers in front of me looked like hands and when they moved I expected them to become covers again, but I startled myself by moving the covers and it appeared as though the hands and arms remained throughout the entire time. I thought it was the video warping, but after blinking a few times I confirmed that it was my vision. It was as though there were a filter over my vision with no color, and then it slowly turned blue, and then quickly went yellow, and back to blue, then back to normal vision. The peoples' faces were getting larger and smaller and moving all over the place. I kept looking at my phone's home screen and just got lost in the icons dancing all over the place. Any text on a screen would wiggle and shake like crazy. Definitely, LSD hallucinations are the most fun of any drug I've tried so far.
At this point in the trip I began to focus on the issues that are important in my life. I thought about my family, and I pictured the type of family I would like to one day have. I thought about how my parents are the way that they are because of the struggles of providing for my sisters and I, and worrying about how we were going to turn out. I learned to forgive them for their shortcomings and to attribute them to human imperfection and circumstantial factors.
Lately I was feeling very unexcited about the transition to college, living with random dudes I've never met before, in a huge city. I thought about all of the things I plan to accomplish and they were a lot more clear to me. I don't really know how to describe it but I felt a whole lot better about the situation. I pictured myself doing random things like studying at the coffee shop, grocery shopping, doing random stuff.
Throughout this entire time, my body felt all sorts of random pulsing sensations. It really is strange how every organ in the body seems to be affected by LSD. I kept cracking my toes and moving them all over the place under the covers. I would get confused as to where my feet ended and the covers began. Also, I did find myself hungry a few times throughout the experience and I did eat a lot of chips and some cheese sticks. I thought this was kind of weird considering almost every trip report I've ever read report people not having any desire to eat at all. When I went downstairs to grab something to eat the hair on my cats fur was pulsating outwards, and I felt extremely tall. My sister scared the crap out of me and she let out like a wailing noise and it sounded like a drone that lasted what seemed like a long time.
It's now around 5:00 AM and I'm still tripping a tiny bit. Text is moving around ever so slightly and I still see some fractally sort of patterns when I close my eyes, but nothing colorful and lifelike as before. My thought have slowed down back to normal though.
I feel as though I've rambled enough, so I'll just say a few more things. Of my few psychedelic experiences, I would have to rate LSD as my favorite so far. Salvia has not taught me anything or given me any perceived benefits. I've tried weed multiple times, but I don't particularly enjoy being high on marijuana all that much. I've only smoked or eaten primarily indica, so I won't give up on weed until I've given a few sativa strains a try. Magic mushrooms is next on my list of favorite drugs. I feel like psilocybin shows you the message immediately, and has a few different types of hallucinations. On shrooms my hallucinations are more "elven" and lively. On LSD, the message that you would have been shown on shrooms is still shown to you, but instead of it being shoved right in your face at once, you are guided to find the answer yourself in a manner that while smooth, is definitely fast and you still have to hang on a little bit.
Long story short, 9 times out of 10 I would choose LSD over any other drug, ever. Your mind is clear, the hallucinations are much more fun and less confusing, and all-in-all LSD is miles above any other substance.
Mushrooms shoves the message down your throat, and makes the world come alive.
LSD takes you on a high-speed ride down the country side, showing you precisely what you need to see and turns the world into a fun-house mirror.

I'd have to agree and disagree personally. Lucy has shown me a fun time, mostly just fun and crazy good. I learn a lot and it's more pleasent.
Mushrooms are very introspective. Where LSD has shown me a good time and helped me overcome issues that are both deep and surface; powerful mushroom trips have changed me from my core in a good way. I respect both, but mushrooms I respect in a whole different way.
Anyway, happy you had a good time!

Right on

I'm kind of bummed that music sounded pretty normal to me. I love music and I couldn't wait to see how good it would sound on LSD. I guess I need to try a higher dose next time?

DMT did that to me last time. It just happens (differs) from time to time I guess.

yeah go for 200-300 ug and you should experience auditory hallucinations. I had the most intense one of my life during a candy flip on 360ug

I always say that LSD puts the entire universe in motion solely to prove it's point to you.
I'm gonna have to start using this! Yes LSD will show you the world, because it turns out you haven't seen the world until you've seen it on LSD. To me it just depends on the night which substance is better between shrooms or acid. Shrooms I am able to sit down and relax roll up a blunt much more where as LSD I'm pacing back and forth like a caged animal, questioning the universe in its entirety, my mind is moving at 1,000mph on LSD where as my experiences with mushrooms have felt quite the opposite. I believe LSD will make you a better thinker, Mushrooms will make you a better person.

I can agree. Lsd has more of an amphetamine effect in that way were as mushrooms actually relax you. Both are very strong psychedelics though thats for sure.

Great comparison--shrooms vs. LSD. Totally agree.
