Check out this insane amount of pins!!! [HARVESTED]

So this BRF cake just started pinning yesterday and these pins will become the cakes first flush. The amount of pins blew my mind!

I will update this thread as the pins begin to mature.

Also my SGFC has become full so should I attempt to stack some cakes or should I just make another SGFC since these cakes seem to be doing great without being stacked? I would hate to fuck up a sure thing but I have several more cakes in the dunking phase right now and I'm kind of concerned with what I'm going to do with them. I already have some outdoor grows going so I'd really rather not set up any more of those.

An alternative for the extra room issue. Birth, dunk, don't roll. Put back into jar. Replace the dry verm barrier with fresh verm(this takes the place of the roll) then put a ziploc baggie over the top and fruit like that

Update of the OP:

Plus a random cake with some mutants I'm going to be harvesting in a day or two:

So here is an update of the OP(moving along very nicely):

I expected to see some aborts on that cake because I thought "there's no way that cake can sustain the growth of all those pins" WRONG!
Anyways the cake with the mutants got harvested about 15 minutes ago I ended up getting 3 mutants and 2 literally perfect specimens(one of which is small though): The biggest one (the one with the perfect cap) was literally making the cake fall over when I harvested. I had to prop it up with the mutants so that I could get a clear picture of it's lovely cap.

Final update of OP before harvest:

Results of harvest:

I hope what they say about the smaller mushrooms being more potent is true, but I guess I'll find out now won't I?
Also forgot to mention I left a couple shrooms on there that didn't tear their veils yet, and there is still over a dozen pins on it that will hopefully be able to grow to full size now.

when you say fresh verm do you mean dry verm out of the bag or pasteurized field-capacity moisted verm ? Curious if this should be a casing or something different.
OP...nice fruits, have some fresh

I plan to eat some fresh ASAP, but the soonest possible will probably be in two days, so hopefully the 40g or so I put in my fridge will keep that long. All those little guys are drying right now though I knew I wouldn't be able to eat them fresh with all the harvesting I've been doing (no complaints ofc)
Also @ grey and bodhisatta I am trying that bag method with a few cakes for the fuck of it. I hope to see something from them sooner or later, will post if I do

Nice idea, i have 10 PF cakes, but im planning on break them down to create a monotub, then use as a layer 50/50 verm + grinded coffee (of course already used) since i want to have greater flushes than with cakes

How do I get the mushrooms to grow upwards? I just checked and I have pins forming, but they are growing sideways rather then toward the opening at the top. Any advice?

Side pins happen. Luckily the substrate pops right out to harvest them. To try and avoid them you want the conditions on the top of the substrate to be ideal for fruiting. I cased mine. Bod cases with vermiculite, like he mentioned above.

I cased with verm so I suppose I will just have to wait and see. Thanks for the quick reply buddy.
