Chicken of the tree jackpot

Come one come all! See the amazing Chicken Mushrooms! It looks like chicken and feels like chicken, but it is actually a mushroom!
Seriously though, ive never known just how rewarding non-psychadelic mushroom harvests could be. So here i was, picking blueberries in southeast Alaska, minding my own business when something out of the corner of my eye catches my attention. I turn to see one giant 8 inch wide bright orange mushroom growing out of a dead standing spruce. I instantly forget about the fresh blueberries and let the giant mushrooms gravitational force pull me in. I had previously been shown a small specimen of these muhrooms before so i had a hunch this was the same fungi. As i get closer, i find that the other side of the tree is covered with perfectly ripe specimens. Its harvest time. I take out my S&W knife and start cutting. This is my first harvest of these mushrooms, and i couldnt be more impressed.
On the trip home we start to realize, even though we only harvested half of the specimens we still have more than we know what to do with (4-5 lbs). We happened to be making a Smoked Salmon pizza this night so we decided why not make a BBQ Chicken (of the tree) pizza! It was so damn delicious i was left stupified

With the fact in mind that i have too many mushrooms to know what to do with could any provide tips on how to store and preserve these beauties? Also, if anyone has any kickass recipes that would be a sweet bonus. Photos will be attached >:D

Chicken Of The Woods! But yeah my favourite fungus. It is in a league of it's own taste wise due to the meaty texture.

Tasty mushroom. Slice it thin, and dry it very thoroughly. Then store it in a Ziploc. Alternatively, Some people cook these in seasonings and chicken stock then freeze them.
