Help with ID
    #22030402 - 08/01/15 08:06 PM (8 years, 5 months ago)

Can someone help me ID this shroom? I found it in a pasture where we usually find actives here in central FL.

Habitat:
Central FL cow pasture.

Gills:
Dark purple or black

Stem:
Length was about 7" and hollow and fiberous.

Cap:
2 1/2" diameter cone shaped and bluish colored.

Spore print color:
Very important!

Bruising:
It didnt really bruise that I can tell but the stem did turn slightly blue when i held it to cut.

Other information:
Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.

It might be something like Coprinus atramentaria

I'm going with Panaeolus antillarum. Did you see the other photos of it in his gallery?

Yeah the stem got pretty mangled in my bag. It was hollow and pretty fiberous.

I knew it wasnt a Cube so I wasnt going to mess with it until i make a positive ID.Is panaelus antillarum active?

They've come out of my bag worse than that on a long hike.
