Antinuclear antibodies 1:160?
    #22030118 - 08/01/15 07:06 PM (8 years, 5 months ago)

I've went a bit over the net, it doesn't seem to be conclusive of a disease. Says there are alot of positive that aren't related to disease(I hope it's that). I'm a bit over 25.

I have another test for it in a few months, but I'm a bit anxious. I have skin rashes, they are getting a bit worst... I always thought it was just eczema. I'm taking lot of medication lately so I thought it was the reason for the increase.

Just looking to see if anyone was in the same spot or has a clue, thanks. Peace.

If you're having strange symptoms (like skin rashes) and an elevated level of autoantibodies that could be related I would treat that as if it were the issue. Even so medication can cause an increase or decrease as cytokine expression is affected by damn near everything. Anyways if it's bothersome I suggest looking into AIP (autoimmune protocol). It's a diet aimed at identifying foods and lifestyle activities which alter immune expression and can exacerbate autoimmunity. It's no cure but I've had some success using it to manage my CIDP. Getting that inflammation under control will reduce your risk of all diseases later in life as well.
