Strainer for wbs. Tape isnt a good idea. Doing 20 jars probably wasnt the best idea. A tight string would work much better. Im not sure as this is a simply prototype.
I used my sab put a towel on the bottom with armholes and lots of lysol sprayed inside, after cleaning. However, a stop at home depot made me double its use.
plastic bug screening. It is heavily taped to my SAB. A roll of way more than enough was 7.00. i plan to make a wooden frame [didnt have screws handy] but for a jherri-rigged thing, this is good. It drains... real nice. If need be i can bleach the sides to kill endospores

you shouldn't need to do anything to the mesh as long as your grain goes through a proper PC cycle after

True. But i mean for it to stick to the bucket. The tape doesnt hold very well. I used... a lot... of tape.
but, i boiled water [rolling] dropped wbs in, removed from heat with the top on [used my Pc.... drain dry for 20 minutes, rinsed the slime off. Drain another 20, right into jars. I had a friend help me tumble the wbs in the mesh.... Not too dry not too wet, straight to jars. Might filter this to make LI for next time... might do a slurry for the next batch from either my columbian [current] or b+ [next]
thia gives me one workspace that isnt my small af sink used stuff i mostly already had.

I'm pretty sure you want to use distilled water. look up lc vs li fist one I looked at. often you find what you're looking for if you try putting it in multiple ways

noooo.... i'm looking for the filtering process. I have water used to rinse the WBS that's apparently helpful for making LI or LC or Slurry I don't remember

I am in much higher favor of LI than LC especially for a newb. either way, you're gonna need agar.
