Help me tell if my shrooms are real

Today i was walking on a trail in Tennessee. On the side of the trail, i saw a patch of mushrooms. They were clustered up all really close to eachother. The patch was about half a foot long and half a foot wide. So i picked all the shrooms. There are about 50 shrooms, but i dont know if they are magic mushrooms. It had rained a few days ago and today was kinda hot. I really want to know if these are real magic mushrooms. The average length of the shrooms are about 3-4 inches. The stalks are skinny and the caps are about 1-2 inches. They are light brown and the center of the caps have a darker brown color. They weren't on a pile of poop. The gills are light brown, some are really light brown and some are a little darker. I hope the information i provided is enough to identify the shrooms. Thanks!

No don't eat it, that's not even close to a Psilocybe, Gymnopilus, or Panaeolus.

Do you have a spore print? Also what were they growing on? If you can take some better quality pictures that would be great help too.

They are not cubensis. They look nothing like cubes, dried or fresh. I think that they could possibly be Armillaria tabescens but I wouldn't eat them either way.

Yes.
I'd eat them, but I would cook them well at high temperature first.
But I'd eat nearly anything so don't listen to me!

Im making prints right now, I'll post the pics of them when they are finished. And I'm not sure what they were growing on, it looked like gray chunks of stuff that they grew on, but it didn't smell like poop and there weren't any cows near by, it was just out in the woods along a path.

I looked at pictures of Armillaria tabescens growing in the wild and its exactly what it looked like when i picked the shrooms today. So i believe thats what they are, but im gunna wait for my spore prints to finish just to make sure they are Armillaria tabescens.

The spore prints still are not done. But i looked in the gills of the shrooms and i can see tiny white spores and its the same for all the shrooms.

Are you trying to spore print them on white paper? Sometimes older mushrooms don't print well, it might be helpful to add a single drop of water on the caps. I am pretty confident that they are Armillaria but it's still good to practice making spore prints anyway.
