Nah, man, they don't take 20 years to get big. If you get them as seedlings, it might take a while before it takes off, but they're pretty fast growing (for a cactus)
Chrisman is amazing with his cacti, so listen to what he's got to say
I'll look his name up. He have some teks or layman's biology? I've been big into advanced mycology for a while, and basic erm... house plants, but cacti are just a whole new world to me. What is the comparitive difficulty? I got a small cacti from a grocery store once 5 years ago and I can't tell if it's alive or dead. It's never grown much since I got it, and I've watered it maybe 15-25x in those 5 years. Cats knock it over a lot too. It's only an inch or two tall.

Bridgesii are a pretty fast growing cactus, but unless you have a safe place to keep them and someone to take care of them, you are probably better off waiting till you are a little more settled to grow them. No reason you couldn't order some cuttings and brew them tho.

yeah post a pic and I can at least tell you my opinion. I don't really do much trading because I am a chronic procrastinator when it comes to going to the post office. Unless you live local, in which case I love trading face to face.
Funny, a lot of people seem to have rot issues with bridgesii cuttings. I've never had a single cutting fail on me, even teeny tiny ones.

Are the effects similar to San pedro? I've got 0% expirence with consumption or cultivation but I've been interested for a while

Basically it's the same or a very similar experience, except that bridgesii are much more reliably potent.

Probably all pachanoi, but they are a little immature yet to be able to say for sure. They seem like maybe they could use more sun to fatten them up. What is their growing situation?

they out of direct sun on the patio. rains way too uch for me to keep them out there. i also need to uproot them all and replant them into individual containers with proper cactus soil... they are in oceanforest / happy frog mix right now.
two of them managed to sustain some sort of infection at the very top, started off as a black spot, then progressed rapidly to a black mold / and tricoderma infection. interestingly, both infection sites were right around where two caterpillars decided to cocoon / silk themselves in the folds of the plants. those were my PC pach's though

Yeah probably mostly soil issues. They'll take more water than most cacti, but that foxfarm stuff is pretty rich and moisture retentive. They really do need at least 3 hours or so of sun in order to grow properly IMO.
