Pale brown / white gilles mushroom for ID.
    #22027184 - 08/01/15 07:02 AM (8 years, 5 months ago)

Another specimen to learn, characterised by a tall stipe and relatively small cap, light brown / buff and very pale gills, more or less whitish mouse-gray colour. It was growing on very damp mossy peat under pine trees. Any idea on the Genus?

Clitocybe is a possibility but that is just a guess.

Doubt back in scene for this specimen after reading some profiles of Lepista gilva ;-( ;-( This species seems to have a better macro-morphological match to my specimens, namely from the fine speckled surface of the hat. Thoughts are welcomed.

Lepista gilva : Clitocybe sinopica 2:1  What are your opinion between these two species?
