Knock'd up some more jars just in-case the monotub doesn't turn out .

Does this seem to be cubensis mycelium?

Is this Cobweb mold?

Red Circle:  Pleurotus Ostreatus
Yellow Circle:  Possible Cobweb Mold.

Fruiting for 7 days at +90% humidity.  Yellow has spread fast over 2 days.

Cubensis. Rhizomorphic like most GT.

Never waited for 100% colonized it started to pin before it got to 100% so i just stuffed it with polyfil , think it may have been due to the crack letting air in ive bought a new container for the next time :super:

Op, that didn't look like cobweb to me. Even the third pic. Looks dry. Could use a misting to knock down the fuzz. There are also a shit load of pins in there. I realize this was ten days ago. How are they now?

Lab, isn't cobweb either.

Tagyo pic is a good rep of cobweb.

If it's cobweb it will take over your sub in a day or two. I don't see any to be honest. This happened in one day. I woke up and saw what looked like cobweb. Wasn't sure. Waited less then 12 hours. Opened it up again and was sure.

Cobweb mold:

Usually followed by a distinct odor of old garbage. It also comes from lack of oxygen.

If you look closely in the second pic, bottom right hand corner you can see a spot of myc coming up for comparison.

I got cobweb here from NO air exchange during colonization, AKA stale air. Little known fact: most tote seals are improper from manufacturer, meaning a little air comes in and a little CO2 comes out. This was wrapped in saran wrap tight and taped to the jar.
