It's an interesting historical tidbit about a conversation between the Adams Family about the role of women in early America, then he goes on the comment on the women's suffrage movement, and amendments that showed a clear gender bias.  I honestly expected some MRA drivel, but was pleasantly surprised.  It seems to be a pretty unbiased approach to history, but I did skim through the one video.

The tagline to the book is "The Rise of Corporate Dominance and the Theft of Human Rights", so I think the facts are intended to inform whatever point the author is trying to make along this line.

The way that women were treated by the "Founding Fathers" of the US was very similar to the way the Taliban and fundamentalist extremist "Muslims" treat women today. I would like to hear more about what made these people feel justified in doing that. Wouldn't be surprised to find out they thought the Bible was saying to do it -- although Jefferson was pretty much against organized religion.

The freed black male slaves had the right to vote while white females didn't. In fact, women didn't get the right to vote until 1920 (19th Amendment), while the 15th Amendment, passed in 1870, gave the freed black male slaves this right. Women got this right 50 years after the freed male slaves!!

I wonder what the "Tea Partiers" would have to say about these things since they act like the founding fathers were gods and the Constitution is the Bible.

Women want equal rights until they have to bite the bullet.

Ephesians 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Psalm 12:6
The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Hebrews 11:3
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Revelation 3:11
Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
