The drill should state a chuck size on it somewhere. I'm sure they sell adapters for it though.

drills have a chuck.
the chuck adjusts to fit bits.
if your chuck is too large, you tighten it.
if its too small, there ARE adapters, but they arent worth it.

i have a hole saw that fits my impact drill, which is the 1 sized hex thing, but i dunno if yours could adapt to it.

Take some plyers to hold the bit and heat the bit up over a flame nice and hot and just push it through the plastic and make your holes that way then

When I held the flam next to it, it started emitting fumes so I stopped immediately and opened the porch door for fresh air

The smoke coming from plastic is too much. I'd rather just saw it, do i just need another drill or Is an adapter fine

I use a cheap hole saw I got at ace hardware (6$ I think?) and a 15$ drill from harbor freight. The drill has an adjustable aperture (aka "chuck") that I use to open it wide enough to fit the hole saw.

If you are having trouble, depending on the price, it might be cheaper to just pick up a cheapo electric drill rather than a new hole saw.

This happened to me a month ago. You probably need a bigger/more powerful drill.

but frankly you can buy a new hole saw cheaper than an adapter for yours usually.

Get a real drill. If you live in the us any big box store should have one with an adjustable chuck for under $20 and the uses for a drill are endless.
