Trimming pins for larger fruits?
    #22024966 - 07/31/15 04:01 PM (8 years, 5 months ago)

So in this video they trim King Oyster clusters and end up with giant beautiful fruit.  I imagine a lot of this is for overall quality rather than yield.

Anyway I'd like to do some experiments with cubes just to see what happens and was curious if any of you guys have given this a try.

It's about 6:45 in.

I'm going to run some experiments.  I trimmed a cluster yesterday and so far the results look promising but I'll need to do some side by sides and compare tub yields.

I suspect that the result will be large fruits but lower yields.  Probably not a practical growing method but I'm curious anyway.

I'd be interested to know how well this works.  I think you saw that retarded pinset I got that probably gimped my yield and made harvesting an atrocity.

I spawned some popcorn casings and had double-overlay cause I didn't put enough hydrogen peroxide in my automated aquarium mister.  I only got one mushroom so I cut off the head part where the seeds fall from and put it in a jar of LC and sprayed it all over a tin of PF cakes I made with gravel, cardboard, and bisquick in my microwave.  I think it will be good cause B+ is so potent.
Triggered yet?

No, this does not look right...
