static pressuer at working point?
    #22024454 - 07/31/15 01:53 PM (8 years, 5 months ago)

so i called abatement technology to figure outthe static pressure at the working point of a particular hepa filter.

This one.
http://hepafiltersales.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=HFS&Product_Code=H242406DG

and finally after a week or so and multiple phone calls they emailed me this sheet

so is my static pressure at the working point where the red line is?
this sheet is for this particular filter.

at 1.80?
would i need a 2000 cfm blower?

You didn't post the sheet. You want to have 1" of static pressure at whatever CFM your blower puts out.

so it looks like 1 inch at 1200 cfm... and then add 20% is gonna be about 1500 cfm.

does that sound and look about right?

seems like a phat ass filter... because i was about to buy a blower that blows at 480 cfm before i got this data sheet....

does anyone have any input on this...

from what i understand and based on this graph, this is a high resistance filter. if i need 1" then that would be around 1200 cfm.

is that correct or no ?

Something like that, and you didn't account for the prefilter yet
