As someone noticed in a previous post here on C. edulis, I am a prior moderator and one of the people that worked to make this forum a regular and well-visited section of the shroomery, myself, Psilocybe_Cubensis (may he rest in peace, commited suicide at a prior shroomery gathering almost 10 years ago now), Entheomation had worked hard to make this place what we hoped it would later become, and glad to see ya'll have carried the torch in our absences. For me, life and obligations took hold as well as the pursuit of a career (I'm a medical doctor now believe it or not). Because of this I've not kept up my passions as I had hoped but I have a few things I can share as I've been attempting to start a new garden and get some specimens back, I deeply miss my C. edulis, my L. Williamsi and many others. I don't have much fancy things to show everyone like I would have in the past, but here are some simple common things I've been growing.
The kratom is from a 1 Meter tree I have and decided to make a cutting and propagate to more plants. The P. Somniferums were an incidental grow from a prior year, i disturbed the soil and found them growing (out of season) a few weeks later, they are stunted because they germinated and grew too late in the season, go too hot and they bolted at a young age and flowered. None the less I let them live. Trichs are new transplants from an old large plant I had back in new jersey. And the morning glories were incidental, there are many MG's growing in the area and the seeds must have blown in, so I decided to setup a lattice to let them grow through.

Being you are a Medical Dr. If I were to have some issuer "or symptoms" could you take said symptoms and give me some possible diagnosis if need be?
I figure you don't have a lot of time nowadays with work and all but I do hope you can find some time to relax with some seeds and soil and really get back to the basics

Well done, thats no easy feat. Do they teach you in med school why the doctors symbol is 2 interlocking snakes up a staff with seraph wings at the top?

What we look for depends upon what we think. What we think depends upon what we perceive. What we perceive determines what we believe. What we believe determines what we take to be true. What we take to be true is our reality.”

It's beleived to come from doctors or priests in Afica wrapping a parasitic worm around a stick to keep it from breaking of getting lose and pulling back into the body. It was a sign of being a good doctor.
And it's not a caduceus staff.

The caduceus is actually the wrong symbol but it is used and commonly seen as the symbol for doctors/medicine, but actually the Staff or Rod of Asclepius is the correct symbol, it's a single staff-like stick with a single serpent.
Back to topic, the curry plant I referred to early i forgot to post. I'll find it. I used to use it for flavoring in cooking but it gave all curry dishes a "generic curry flavor."
I have some absinthe pics somewhere too, i still run absinthekits.org but get lazy with fulfilling orders in a timely manner.

what he described IS a caduceus. This caduceus is used here in the USA as a symbol for medical services. I understand that the staff of Asclepius is the correct symbol for medical service-just not here in the States.
