I got hit by a car on July 24th, 2015

It was around one in the afternoon and I was sober and tried to cross the street and I was hit by some pregnant woman who tried to say she got whiplash from hitting me. I'm only about 165 pounds and the bikes about ten pounds. I don't remember being hit. Witnesses say the suburban was going between 25 and 40 mph and say I actually went over the vehicle.
I've got a fractured left clavicle (collarbone), bruised lung and there are many cuts, scrapes and wounds all over me. I had to get like 12 stitches in my head and face, 6 stitches in my back and I can barely move my left arm without severe pain. I was in the hospital for 4 days.
All I am concerned about at this point is filing a claim and getting money out of this because I am homeless, broke and I think I have suffered enough in my life.
If anyone would actually like to give advice because they've been in this situation before, that would help a lot.

In the safety and security forum there is a thread for asking shroomery members with legal experience (lawyers) advise. I would advise you to seek the advise of a no-charge attorney by explaining to them that you have no money but would like to file a civil claim against her for damages/bills and would be willing to sue for your attorneys fees as well.

Enlil's Ask an Attorney thread might be a way to get quick legal guidance. He can at least point you in the right direction, and offer perspective on what your legal options are.
She hit you with her vehicle. Drivers are responsible for where the front of their vehicle goes. She has no claim against you, but you have a claim against her. It is worth pursuing, and I encourage you to do it. Be sure to keep track of all your medical expenses. These should be paid, and you should be compensated for your pain and suffering as well.
Hope your injuries were minor and that you are recovering well.
