So can anyone tell me whether these are rieshi mushrooms? I've heard they are very healthy? There's is a lot around here so any help is appreciated.
I've looked at pictures on google but they kinda all look different as heck. same colors as mine but different shapes.

Fomitopsis pinicola complex. Not a Ganoderma but some people also use them medicinally. Not sure if they are comparable or not.
At least I am 90% positive they are Fomitopsis, If you go back cut one open, brown flesh= Ganoderma, whitish flesh = Fomitopsis, at least in this case. Ganoderma tsugae also has a white flesh, among others but this isn't it.

That's ok....just impatient, I guess ...sorry, couldn't resist that one. Happens to us all...good luck on your endeavors ....and remember, It is not a good idea to piss off the TI's here....as they are our friends. Mr. cloudy is the most knowledgeable person on this site and probably period...when it comes to these mushrooms. And, ghost is indispensable on this board...he answers more newbie requests than anyone I can recall lately....and he does it with class and dignity. This is a awesome forum....we are very fortunate to have such a tool.
