I'm starting to believe that pasteurizing horse manure for an outdoor bed is unnecessary...But...The manure I intend to use has grown a couple of 'inkies' already and I'm questioning whether or no to pasteurize it...
Thoughts on how necessary it is to pasteurize horse manure for an outdoor bed???

If you use a good spawn ratio, the dense and isolated mycelium should easily overgrow anything thats naturally there

For outdoor grows I just bring substrate to field capacity mix grains then pour it into a shallow grave, covered lightly with some leaves, or potting soil or jiffy....
Can also cover with plastic until colonized...
That being said you shouldn't have to sterilize or pasteurize your bulk for outdoor beds.
