What's a good edible to grow for high fruiting temps?
    #22017897 - 07/29/15 11:43 PM (8 years, 5 months ago)

I'd like to grow something that would go good on pizza, can fruit at 75-85F, and can be done in a mono without much fae.  What would fit these parameters the best?

My first inclination was to recommend Pink Oysters but in a mono, they would likely not form well at all. They need lots of FAE.

Maybe someone else with a little more variety under their belt will chime in. Best wishes and good vibes to you my friend!:mushroom2:

:whathesaid: Got a high temp KO strain... yes please!!

Unfortunately Florida Oyster, Phoenix Oyster, pinks and Yellows would be needing lots of FAE but all do well at higher temps.
Only other thing I can think of would be Pioppino good to 22C and a bit more CO2 tolerant - though it has been a while since I grew them so I can't say how tolerant they are.

I've got my apartment at 63F for the King block right now and I'm still waiting for pins. I would definitely love a high temp King Oyster variety if someone on this forum has one..... hint, hint.:naughty:

Actually I do know of one commercial KO option - not had any response on it yet from Holland but...
