Well, I'll say the cop is. He will suffer bad in jail. I hope inmates deprive him of food, extort his booty, and whoop his ass until he wants to die.
Oh, and now he has no freedom. No more cool cop rides. No more authority. no more.

he was driving a 1.5 ton killing machine or do you somehow believe that cars are incapable of killing people when the driver is trying to get away from a cop

Cop was concerned about the guy driving off and possibly killing someone. Cop kills the guy and then the car takes off anyway, with the possibility of killing someone else.

Which all could of been avoided, by avoiding the chase, and just taking the license plate down, isn't that basically what they're for?

In all honesty it seem like it endangers the public more to send a dead guy screaming down the road than just falling back and persuing with back up and copters etc. If that pole wasnt there it was going into those buildings/houses behind it..
he coulda been tweeking on meth and planned to drive into those houses anyway. anyone who runs from a cop isn't thinking clearly and has bad intentions, car = deadly weapon. so you put that all together you have an armed crazy person, and you are standing right next to them and its your job to keep society safe. you reach in thinking grabbing the guy will make him stop, he doesn't. so you do the only thing you can think of in that split second to stop him

by that logic, isn't nearly everything a deadly weapon?
pris, you realize the cop has already been caught lying. You're defending the actions of a criminal who killed someone.

It clearly wasn't his intention to drive off. He didn't push down the pedal until his brains were already splattered all over the place. Holy fuck, pris#1 will defend pretty much any cop killing, even the most obviously unjustified ones.

Yeah but it's ok for a cop to be a criminal. But when a criminal is a criminal, he deserves to be dead.

the guy didnt make it very far did he
the cop tried to get him out of the car and he pulled the door shut again, the cop knew what the next move was going to be, when the guy started the car and put it in gear while the cops had himself in the window he put the cop in danger which as we've seen time and again it gains an acquittal in court but normally prosecutors arent so worried about faggy libtards burning a city down that they dont bring charges when it's self defense as it is in this case

yes, as a matter of fact it can be which is why cops tell you to drop the shit you're holding such as screw drivers, knives, guns and sticks, etc... it's also why they tell you to turn the car off

your defending the actions of a criminal that lied and tried to kill someone but was unsuccessful at his attempt and paid the price for not wanting a traffic ticket

I thought it was implied, but it mustn't have come out that way.
