A little water in agar container and how should I go about cloning a pin?

So this is my second attempt with agar, my first attempt the jars got knocked around the PC and water got in. This time it seemed like my agar prep worked and produced a solid agar layer in the container Im using. I stored it in the fridge for a day and then took it out to warm up to room temp over night which is about 75 - 80 degrees. When I looked at it this morning it has a little bit of water sitting over the agar. How should I go about cloning a pin with a little bit of water in there? Should I pour the excess water out in a SAB? Also how do I take the pin from the casing into the SAB and onto the agar? Just pluck it with something sterile and move it into the SAB as fast as possible and drop it on the agar?

If there is excess water in the agar plate, let it sit at room temp and see if it clears up. If not, make more and don't store them in the fridge, that is unnecessary.
To clone properly, take a tissue sample from inside the stem and transfer that to the agar plate(all done in an SAB).

For long term storage, a fridge for agar is great. For a day or two I just leave them out.
The water you see is most likely condensation pooling. You can do one of two things, leave it at room temperature or before you use it flip the petri over in your SAB. This lets the water drip out. I've never gotten a contam from doing this but I also follow proper sterile procedurs.
The water is sterile, you can just drop the pin in there. It should clear up in a few days, don't put the pin directly in the water though.

Is it alright if I really bruise the inside of the stalk where I took my sample from? The sample was dark blue by the time I was able to cut it from the stalk and transfer it to the agar?

What if I didn't have access to a SAB? I turned the fan and AC off for a few hours, wiped my desk down with rubbing alcohol, used gloves and a mask, and flamed sterilized a knife. I also did it as fast as possible, the lid was only opened for a couple seconds to dump the little bit of water out and place the sample on it

Thats pretty dangerous. Only time will tell.
You know an SAB is just a box with holes in it right?

Getting Cultured: Open Air Agar Tek
Best of luck to you.
--------------------
I spawned some popcorn casings and had double-overlay cause I didn't put enough hydrogen peroxide in my automated aquarium mister. I only got one mushroom so I cut off the head part where the seeds fall from and put it in a jar of LC and sprayed it all over a tin of PF cakes I made with gravel, cardboard, and bisquick in my microwave. I think it will be good cause B+ is so potent. Triggered yet? Only a square would say "a cube is a cube."
No, this does not look right...

Yeah I know I had a couple but threw them out when I moved. I still have some agar and some fresh fruits that I can clone while using a SAB this time
