Creating a sacred space

Hi shroomery,
I am planning my first level 5 experience this Friday for the full moon and I am looking for any tips on creating a sacred space and looking to try some sort of pre ingestion ritual. I plan on either being at home alone or traveling to the remote desert to be far away from people. Perhaps backpacking? I have heard different talks about creating sacred space and different rituals to heighten the connection to spirit and I am seeking any ideas that will help heighten my experience. Also, what would be the best way to ingest 5 grams? Should I just eat them, or make a tea? Is it likely that I will purge during this experience? Any links to useful articles or personal experience/advise. Thanks in advance for your help.

How about in your bed with a blindfold and headphones? That's all the sacredness you need. You won't regret it, I promise!

5 grams is unlikely to make you spew.

I prefer to make tea after a soak in lemon juice.
burn sage around the area you'll be sitting (you'll want to sit if your 5 grams are potent)
meditate, and I keep music ready incase things get rough, but generally prefer the silence/sounds of nature.
don't fight it

What ever makes a place sacred to you is what you do.
Simply telling yourself 2-3 times, "This is my sacred place" Will actually make it your scared place... No matter what place it is.
It's not a lie if you believe yourself.

I'd burn a bit of white sage. Really clear the area around you. 5 grams is a lot, for sure level 5. Its entirely up to you. Which feels more right? Personally I would want to be in the comfort of my home. You will be out and deep in the experience for most of it. I would like access to my fridge, music, bed , cold air etc. That's just me. Though a experience in the desert would be very free and open. The full moon would make that even better. The trip will already be very sacred. I would heal all your chakras, gently inhale love starting from the root to the crown to make it more pure. Im sure it would level you out before you embark on the journey. Incense is going to be amazing too, everything smells great when you are tripping. As for any trip .. Get some bud. Its going to seriously enhance it and nothing is better than that first hit of some dank while you are tripping. Just eat them straight up. I usually eat mine with some form of chips. I only make tea when I lemon tek, and 5g is already a lot to begin with. I dont think you will purge, nah. You might experience some discomfort but just make sure you have water to drink. You're going to go deeep. 5G is a lot, especially if they are some nice indoor ones. I once did 5g and within 15 minutes I was losing the sense of time. At this level there's not much you can do or comprehend but sit there and meditate. You are going to be floating with the universe inside , crazy amazing CEV's to where they are so colorful and profound you just get lost in them. At this level its going to be a mixture of divine euphoria / realization. Just keep your cool, just go with the flow and I'm sure you'll have an amazing time. Enjoy

Mindfold. Lay down in comfy spot with lots of pillows and blankets.play some nature sounds or soothing sounds in background. Mindfold and meditate. Always get the most out of it this way for sure. Maybe light candles or blacklight posters in a mostly dark room. Night time is best too. I don't like to move around much while shrooming either. Lay down and let the shrooms engulf you. Good luck my friend

I don't have any tips but I think you have the right attitude. So many people come to this forum and brag about how fucked up thery are going to get when they go to Burning Man or some rock concert etc. That's all they will get out of it, fucked up. You will get something else and better. Good luck.

Thanks everyone for the advise. I decided I will stay at home and burn sage and palo santo. I plan to do an hour of yoga followed by meditation to prepare my body and clear my mind/chakras. I am going to set an intention before embarking on the journey. Thinking of having some grateful dead ready if necessary but plan to try it first in silent darkness. Should be an amazing experience. I'll let you know how it goes.

You're going to have a great experience.
I used to do exactly that for about a year when I needed lots of growth.
the mushrooms are incredible little healers

Yeah sounds like a good plan. I have mixed feelings on the whole "setting an intention" thing, but it's definitely something interesting to try. Sometimes though I like to go in with no concept of an agenda and just observe.

Perhaps you are right about setting an intention. In my heart I already know what it is I am seeking so there should be no need to try and define it. Thanks again everyone. Make sure to check out the full moon tonight!

Wow, what a night. I cleaned my place all day preparing for the night. After doing some yoga and meditation i burned sage all around my house and property. At 9:30pm I ate 5 grams of dried golden teacher. I lied down and waited for the come up. It took about an hour but when it hit, it hit fast. I found myself observing some crazy demon that resembled a terrifying koopa from Mario brothers. Another dark diety began riping my body apart. I saw my head torn from my body with the spine attached and he began to rip my skin and face apart. I tried to tell myself to just go with it, but soon realized that this was not good energy. I started to say to myself "get away from me darkness". I then said it out loud. Immediately I felt this intense electrifying tingling that went from my head all the way down my body, cleansing all the dark energy. After that, everything was good. I was still very disoriented and confused and went through some waves of nausea and loneliness. I got sick of lying around and decided to go for a walk. My body was so heavy and I felt off balance. The night sky was so beautiful. The stars seemed to be talking to me and there were thin whispy clouds scattered around the sky. Later I climed onto my roof and just gazed at the stars and the full moon. The afterglow was amazing after the intensity wore off. I feel amazing today, like I have new energy coursing through my blood. I felt that you all were somehow part of my journey. I really appreciated the advise and good vibes. Hoping that as the day goes on I will continue to process the experience and learn. Thanks again for all the help.

Sounds like a good one! Sometimes the challenging experiences can be the most rewarding. Often really. Sounds like you dealt with it like a champ though. I usually am kinda floored for a couple hours, and then end up wanting to go walking or something.

It was definetly what I needed. Can't say it was what I was looking for since perhaps I had built it up in my head before. I had been planning this day for a month and I got sort of caught up in imaging what it would be like. It was certainly the most intense trip I have had just because I felt so confused and uneasy at times. It's really hard to describe a few hours of the trip. I have had stronger visions on smaller amounts, and it seems like an eighth is more pleasant and beautiful. That said, will definitely try for level 5 again in a few months and also plan on trying ayahuasca in October Because I feel like I still have much to learn.

So I'm curious if you sent an intention and how that went
