alot of mixed reviews...i would like to grow something that i can extract from it DMT...i read in "psychedelic shamanism" that reed canary is a very good source of dmt and easy to plant...but over the net there are alot of mixed reviews so what you guys think? if its a bad source for dmt, is there any other alternative of something you can easily plant indoor or in a balcony that doesnt take years to mature?

It's a weed... Might already be growing where you live Think there are maps of where it grows on line... Google it and the words Weed or Invasive Weed http://www.na.fs.fed.us/fhp/invasive_plants/weeds/reed-canary-grass.pdf
http://www.invasive.org/gist/moredocs/phaaru01.pdf
I have not tried the extraction... There is a toxin present that I am wary of
If you do try it, let us know!
Peace

After searching and for an totally fast indoor or balcony cultvation i think i have two options: phalaris brachystachys as it has the highest alkaloids of the phalarises and Desmanthus Illinoensis (not that fast but well...). regarding the phalaris brachystachys i think you can use a wheat juicer just like the book and its easy to do...Unfortunately there is not alot of information or experience about the subject as people always use mhrb or viridis (which is very good source for dmt indoor plant but hard to germinate) to get their dmt...mmmmm there is alot to read about the subject.

I know you mentioned you were in the middle east and can't buy a live plant, but can you get a couple leaves mailed to you? If so, viridis can be easily propagated from just a single leaf. Just snap the stem of the leaf a couple times, halfway bury the leaf, and keep damp until little baby plants pop up.
