Damn its cold and wet for July and the long range forecasts promise much of the same for most August.
I've been looking forward to the Autumn all year but may not have to wait as long as expected
Here's hoping for an early Liberty Cap season in the UK If today's any thing to go by it looks promising. I'll be on the hunt if it stays like this by the beginning of September

I'm quite used to finding them towards the end of July here in Norway, however this year I actually found a few already early in June:

And last year your fellow countryman t1mp5 found them even in May(!):

Sweeet. Doesn't happen that early in the year for me unfortunately because of where I'm based. Late August early September "weather permitting" is when things usually begin to get going here

~I'm down in the south east, I think I will put more effort into hunting this year. Hopefully it will be early , as you say, it's very wet and pretty cold. Will have to go for a walk sometime soon to see if there is any (anytype of) mushrooms out.
Basically just posting to have this thread on my 'threads'
That's pretty cool people have already found them, but norway I think the season comes earlier than here in the UK.
It's a beautiful country, Norway. Wish I was doing my hunting there!
Lets pray for early mushrooms !

With each containing one of the following: Cyanide... Psilocin... Would you take the risk? Didn't think so. This is why Positive Identification prior to consumption is important.
