Just curious if anyone else is following this company, they have taken a big beating since the nuclear melt down at the Fukushima Daiichi power plant in 2011.
Being a commodity based company, naturally the stock follows the price of Uranium fairly closely.

The good news is this company sits on the two richest Uranium mines in the world (supposedly) in Canada and Kasachstan. I believe having access to these rich deposits has helped keep them afloat, all of Cameco's US based mines are In-situ which is just about the only feasible mining method for the quality of uranium deposits in the United States right now due to the low production cost.. I do not know much about the industry but I can say with confidence that several traditional mines in my own state have shut their doors until prices recover.. I don't think this means much more than Camaco is pretty savvy for targeting low cost production mines in the USA which generally speaking is not a rich producer compared to Canada, and Kasachstan..
It seems like Cameco is in a good position to benefit a great deal if Uranium prices go up considerably in the future, and like gold there is only so much uranium on the planet.. Unlike gold, its anyone guess to weather anyone is going to want to dig it out of the ground in the future.. Fusion development, while in its infancy, could easily negate the need for high volumes of Uranium in the distant future... And I bring up distant future, because I am interested in Cameco as a long term stock..
From a stock analysis perspective Cameco is "iffy" with negative free cash flow in recent years, and high debt (when you consider they haven't made the type of profits needed to reasonably settle the debt since 2009). The company has managed to grow Equity fairly consistently but revenue has leveled off in recent years, understandably...
The company seems large enough to stay around, while smaller companies not as heavily invested in high value mines are waning... This might leave Cameco in a good position if we see a resurgence... I guess the real question is, what does the future hold for Nuclear Power.... Thoughts?

I don't know why you would post this other than to get people to buy it so the value of your stocks goes up.
This stock is about the same price as it was in 2005, but in 2005 the world economy was booming, and right now the world economy isn't so good. This tells me that the stock is currently overvalued. In addition, the high that the stock had in early 2008 would only triple your investment whereas the low that it had in 2000-2001 would decrease the value of your investment by 95%. 1/20th value low or triple value recent high. Not a good bet or investment.

I don't own any of the stock, and the fact that you think a single post on the shroomery could trend a stock with a 5.3 Billion dollar cap concerns me as to how astute any analysis you produce could be...
