Hi shroom growers from all over the world!!! Im in the process of making a large capacity humidifier with a 12 head mist maker in a large bucket as per a tek here... I have everything ready, im just having a little dilemma with a piece of equipment...
the SEAFLO inline blower I plan to use as the fan for pushing the mist through piping

This thing is designed to be run using a 12V DC battery like the one of a motorcycle... i did not realized this after i had recieved the item... i originally thought it came with an AC adapter... but it does not...
I wonder if this thing can be used wiring it to the correct ac/dc adapter??? I have one right here:
but i dont know which cable is + or - one of the cables has white strip and the other is totally black.... the blower has a warning like this:
So can it be wired to work???

That AC adapter doesn't supply enough current (300mA). That blower needs 2.5 Amps.
An AC adapter from a laptop probable will have enough current supply for the blower.

Agreed, you'll need to get a different adapter. I found one on amazon for $15 just doing a quick search. As for the wiring you've got two options
1. (Recommended) Get a female barrel connector that fits the right power supply, then solder it to the leads on the blower
2. cut the head off the power supply and solder the wires straight together. I wouldn't recommend this because you will need to desolder the connections if the power supply or blower fails down the line.
