Are U a fan that would rather a team U are a fan of cheated and won than played fair and lost?
And are U a person who believes U should cheat in a sport if it will give U a sure win so as long as U don't get noticed cheating?

play fair and lose. Being a Pats fan just seems so exhausting having to constantly defend the team forever.

Everybody cheats to a certain extent in the NCAA and the NFL, and every other sport. If you cheat and lose then you are the biggest loser.

Play fair and lose. If I know it's not an honest win that's all that matters, it's not enjoyable.

But at the level of NCAA revenue sports and pro sports, this is not done for enjoyment. This is like Apple vs Microsoft or Ford vs GM. In Billion dollar businesses whether you cheat or not isn't the issue. Being successful and not getting caught is what matters.

I disagree. Do you think guys like Barry Sanders had that kind of mentality? I doubt it.

Fuck that. There is honor in losing like a man. Shaking your opponents hand and then being able to hold your head high afterwards is what sports are all about. No one wins all the time and if all you value is winning, your life is clearly devoid of it.
Winning through cheating is much worse than losing. It means you are scummy corrupted fuck.

The main "cheating" that goes on in pro sports is doping. And that should be legal anyway.
In terms of real cheating, fuck that shit. The thing about cheating is, if you use it then you never get any better.

I just think most of you are thinking of amateur sports at a lower level. Not when billions of dollars are involved.
Give me a list of NFL players, GMs or owners who don't ever cheat. There is nobody on this list except a couple of losers who have very short careers.
They cheat in the Olympics so they sure the fuck cheat in the NFl.

No, we're thinking of the NFL and the Patriots. The team that cheated its way to four illegitimate Super Bowls and then when they are caught they just stand around blaming everyone else and whining.

Nope, doesn't matter. Plenty of players would agree with me too.

I personally, would much rather play fair and if I lose, then 'eh', I did my best, if I win, then it's that much more rewarding.
The same mentality goes towards the teams and players or whatever I'm a fan of.
I know the whole pro sports thing is trying to see who can get the upper hand, but if that comes in the way of blatantly breaking the rules, then

blatantly breaking the rules is hacking into another teams database and stealing secret information
its funny how when that happened earlier this year no one gave a fuck, but when brady alledgedly knew about balls being deflated thats somehow cheating
cheating requires a competitive advantage, and theres none with the more or less air in a football
people just gotta discredit the goats. this is all it comes down to. people desperately seek ANYTHING to discredit those accomplishments. this is what happens when your team dominates for more than a decade

When I hear he snuck balls away after they've been cleared by the refs, then I'll change my tune on that.

Of course we can't have a conversation without it turning into another fucking Tom Brady thread.
Back to what we were talking about (and no I am not referring to the Patriots when I speak of cheaters). I don't know about you, Brian Jones, but no amount of money in the world can corrupt my morals. Any one of you could leave a bag full of cash right in front of me and leave the room and not one dollar would be missing when you came back, because I'm an honest person and I expect everyone to apply those same standards to themselves. I don't see how cheating so you can win billions of dollars in any different than stealing.
If you don't got what it takes to be in the big leagues without cheating then quit and do something else.
