Help identifying

SWIM acquired these from a trusted friend whom he has dealt with many times in the past. Friend told him that 1.75g was almost too much, and SWIM believes him. SWIM has some that were very dense and looked that this last summer and 1.75 would throw SWIM for a good loop. SWIM is experienced in these matters (60ish) and was wondering if anyone could help positively identify these for him. His friend is good friends with the grower, who has always had the goods, who said they are african transkei. SWIM has never had those before and was wondering if they looked the part. They are very dense and look like what SWIM has seen online while researching.
The below picture if of 14g.
Thanks

Sorry, I did not realize. I should clarify that. SWIM was wondering if these look the part. Very dense. I understand it is almost impossible to 100% ID from a picture but are these the characteristics of AT? SWIM had never heard of them until he acquired these
Can a mod please move this to the correct forum?
Thanks

HEllo, this has probably been asked 1000 times but i am sure you will all agree it is better to be safe than to be sorry.
I NEED YOUR HELP!!!
Me and my friend have been looking for some 'liberty caps' the last few weeks, trying different locations. (I live in England, midlands...Nuneaton) We know what liberty caps look like and we know what to look for and we thought that we had found one, it was the same shape and had dark gills, the size was right and everything.
Now i know that there ares some dangerous lookalikes so to make sure after taking ti home we pinched the stem to look at the colour of the bruising. (At the time we thought it had to bruise blue) It didnt bruise blue so we threw it away.
I have read today that Liberty Caps infact dont bruise blue and what we had could very well have been one.
My question is, do they bruise blue or not? and secondly, Is there any specific reason why i might not be finding any? I am looking in the correct habitat and i was wondering if they are not there or if i simply am just missing them.
Any help would be much appriciated,
THANKS! (sorry but no photo's as they are shrivled up in my bin.)

Could be cubes of the mazatapec / mexicana -strain, yes. These have nothing in common with Psyiocybe mexicana btw, this is another species.
These here obviously are Psilocybe cubensis. Under what name they have been sold (Mexicana, B+, Cambodgian, Thai,..) is more or less irrelevant. A cube is a cube.
//edit: Hey FileSpunk: This is the wrong thread and the wrong forum for this kind of question. -

Thanks. SWIM usually takes more than 1.75 but his trusted friend warned him they were strong. That caught SWIMs attention. His friend tested and verified strength.

//edit: I see some "fuzzy feet" in the pic. This is mycelia growing up the stems and it's a sign for not enough fresh air exchange. These shrooms could have grown much bigger under better conditions. But that's not bad, all fuzzy feeted mushrooms I have eaten so far have been quite potent, though.

This thread was moved from The Psychedelic Experience.
Reason: Mushroom identifications belong in this forum.

They are Psilocybe cubensis. It's impossible for anyone to determine the "strain."
It's probably wise to take his word for it when he says they are unusually potent.
