What kind of mushrooms are these?
    #22008031 - 07/28/15 05:01 AM (8 years, 6 months ago)

Saw them on my ride. Found them in a church parking lot. Probably nothing special but now that I've gotten into mushrooms I'm starting notice them more often. Can I eat them? I doubt there psychedelic. I took some just in case. Any info would be much appreciated. I live on in the heart of Long Island btw.

Look at the under side, is it a porous mass similar to a sponge?

They look like polypores...

Actually I'm fairly certain those are polypores...

Daedaleopsis Confragosa

I think that's your mushroom....

Though this is just guessing from what I can see...

No problem, though I'm not 100% on that ID, it is 100% clear it's a polypore species.

Inactive, but very cool looking.

Yeah. I was circling around the parking lot smoking pot and it caught my eye.
