Uncomposted cow poo for outdoor cultivation?
    #22007502 - 07/27/15 11:33 PM (8 years, 6 months ago)

I went to where they grow the cows and took something that looks like uncomposted cow poo.
It is pretty warm so it seems to be in the process of composting.
Can I use it as a substrate for outdoor cultivation?

I also took the grass that the cows eat, so can I use a combination of them?
Can I use the grass alone?

Lol I'll play.

Short answer, no. Your poo is too hot currently. I don't mean temp wise I mean chemically.

It's probably full of urea, ammonia, and especially if it was eating grass, Nitrogen.

Leech your turds man and bake em in the sun.

You also need to get some of the dirt the grass was grown in if you want to do an our door bed..

It would be best to just go out there with a tractor and take a plot of the land back with you.

They bought the grass, it is not coming from where i took it.
Why do I need to take dirt from there, and cannot use dirt from my own garden?
