 Does DMT degrade?

So I'm gonna smoke some DMT tomorrow but its been more than a year since I last dabbled with the stuff. My stash is starting to look waxy and clumpy. Does anyone know if dmt degrades and looses potency over time?

As long as it's stored in a fairly cool and dark place without airflow caressing the crystals, I'm not sure what reaction could take place to reduce it's potency.
Dr. Learn4r recommends 50mg to the face via GVG, consumed until incapable of holding said GVG.
....In a safe and calm environment, preferably with a close friend nearby.

How fast? I have some changa that I kept in a jar with a gas exhange filter on the lid to cure it a little, forgot about it and its been a few months
Was wondering this myself
