Hello all. This is my first post here, but definatly not my first time. I have been visiting since 2006. Anyways, I am in the process of a grow currently. The grow is B+ spawned to ryeberries and using the Roger rabbit straw log tek and fruited in a mini green house with ultra sonic humidification. Everything is great so far, no contams, good pins good fruits..only problem is I DONT NOT think these are B+ as I was told. The fruits are very think bodied and have sSMALL caps..all the B+ I have seen have large saucer shaped caps and medium bodies. CAN ANYONE help me identify these by the pictures? Im sure they are cubes ..just want to know what kind..lol

You are growing ps cubensis in poor conditions. More FAE, better humidity and more light. Dial your greenhouse in better to get the "look" you just described.

This. Strains don't matter, at least not in this sense of the word strain.

Use a flourescent light (CFL is fine) in the 6500K range. And lots more FAE.

LEDs can work but based on what I understand they only provide a very narrow spectrum. The mushrooms like a broad, high spectrum, with lots of blues, and they also appreciate the lower frequency colors as supplementary light. Like was said, 6500k CFLs are a fine replacement.
None of my large grows have ever been done with light from the sun. I hate sunlight inside the house and my girlfriend gets migraines and shit so pretty much every room is blacked out. I get decent sized caps (proportionally to the stipe) pretty consistently. I know they could be bigger if I applied more light or did an outdoor grow. Gotta balance laziness and technique somehow though. I mostly use the 60watt equivalent CFLs but the 100w equivs are probably better to use. I have a few of both. Some fixtures aren't quite made for the 100w ones though so you may have to be a little more discerning with what you plug in where. I just try to make up the difference by putting the 60w equivs really fucking close to the pinning surface.
They like the light at least enough to grow toward it.

Also, the ceiling is way too far away unless your grow is going on a foot from the ceiling.

There is no room for laziness.

Oh? If not, then why do most growers prefer to dial in set & forget methods, rather than constantly maintain a setup? Why do some people take clones from agar pins instead of from the intended final substrate? Why was the bucket tek created? What's the purpose of using polyfill as a filter material? Why do we bother with using timers for lights? Why do some people do a long soak instead of a simmer? Why do some people buy pre-ground BRF when they can just grind brown rice?
And most importantly, why are the people who do these things still successful?
