Contamination? what am I doing wrong? (with pics)

This is actually my first try of producing mushrooms at home... so I was expecting the complications and uncertainties and I am glad I was able to reach the fruiting stage without any problems.
Any way, those are 2 close up pictures of my BRF cakes. Are those little black dots a contamination?

It's not fluffy\hairy and does not seem to rub off... just little tiny black dots. They do seem to spread but not grow in diameter. Black mold? Pin mold?
The cakes are in a fruiting chamber which is on my blacony outside (no controlled environment) so I am assuming that this was formed due to a combination of too much moisture and hot mid-days... but I actually have no Idea...
I think I was wrong to assume that from that stage on the cakes will be more tolerable to contam.
And one last question: Was I supposed to spray the cakes with sterilized water? Can that be my problem?

Sorry I can't speak on your cakes, but I've always used tap water - presumed the chlorine made it clean enough

Tap water is fine. No idea what contam it is, but toss our anything black before it has babies.
