Another successful day! I never thought I'd be so lucky. I'm quite overwhelmed by the amount of shrooms I have found, this is only my second proper haul, ever, haha! I didn't expect to find so many, there hasn't been any rain for about a week. I can only imagine what the field will be like with a few days rain!
Some pics -

Found these just as I was leaving the field too, nice parting gift

I also found a few like this, not quite sure what they are but there stems were really slimey.

Also, just for fun, here's a pic of my fan drying technique. Took me a while to figure out a way of getting the fan to sit at that angle

Good evenining fellow shroomers.
This is my first post as a shroomery member. I've been lurking here for quite some time now. About 3 years in fact.
Anyway the mushroom season is in full swing here in South Wales. Noticed a few popping in late august. But September they really started to expose themselves. So kind of an early start here?
Planning on going on a hunt tomorrow to a new spot I found. Hopefully they will be as abundant as last time I checked there. I shall post some photos of my finds very soon.
Happy hunting trippy friends

Did i miss something? what do you mean mate i am intrigued!
Also was just reading a trip report, first paragraph was:
"The process started 3 days before with the diet. Cut out the bananas, avocado, and salt. And laid off the Game of Thrones and heavy metal. I wanted to go in as well prepared as possible."
I found the game of thrones bit funny! but was wondering if there was any science behind why he cut out bananas, avocado and salt? safe peoples

Not sure why cut out those foods with shrooms other than just in case to aid a nice trip but I know if your taking Ayahuasca with an MAO inhibitor it can be quite dangerous or even deadly to consume certain foods/drugs beforehand, I seem to remember Avocado but if you google "what not to eat before Ayahuasca" and you'll see a terrifying list of dont's.

Hi guys, got a few questions.
Have tried looking several times in fields/cow pastures/sheep pastures in South Yorkshire quite a few times. I've read and heard a lot from mates that I'm better off just going to the Pennines (dunno how vague I have to be but the village starts with H). Should I take the advice and stop looking in SYorks?
One thing that made me nervous about pennines though was that I heard sometimes bobbies on horses are bothering people up there, how active/likely are they?
Thanks

Dr. You're most probably correct. We've been picking these along side semis since 92. Pretty rare finds and usual habitat is thick dense sharp grass clumps. Might have to start separating them to check strength difference but never got around to it. Well spotted mate.

Went for a walk in the Peaks on Wednesday and picked a handful near the top of Mam Tor! Reckon your best bet is to head out that way and look for the nice fields.
Got my biggest haul yet yesterday, then only a few this morning. Got a few to ID, Will upload pics from a PC later.
