Sounds like a lovely weekend away and just in time before it gets too cold.
Nice finds and good photos (looks like an expensive camera?)

Thanks Kad, Snowdonia is the most beautiful part of the continent that i've seen so far, i'd love to live out there. As much as i'd like to go back i'd imagine in a week or so it'll be too cold to camp comfortably without an extremely warm sleeping bag & thermals. I got the feeling that Snowdonia will be in full swing by next week, either that or i already just missed the peak.
The camera is just the one on my Samsung Galaxy S4

Hi,
I don't think these are Liberty Caps but any help/confirmation people can offer would be much appreciated.
Picked: 10/10/15 * Habitat: Growing out of the dead bark of a fallen tree trunk. * Location: New Forest, Hampshire, England * Color: Unfortunately I dried these out before I knew about bruising

Hello shroomery!
this is my first post - despite USING the smroomery for many a year. i tried to upload a picture, but i can't seem to attach it to this post!
I went and found me little hearties near the pentlands in the old cow/sheep field that i often harvest on. That was on the 8th october. I got 250 in about 2 hours. I'll give it another visit this week but might be getting a bit late. It's hard to tell in scotland as the weather is so changeable.
So I just thought I'd say yeahy! happy days! i took em home, dried them, froze them and sucked as much air out of the baggy as i could with a straw. today i took 60 out and ground them up as i want to start microdosing this week. I took what is roughly an average weight of one mushroom, but it could have been as little as half a mushroom. i ground them up and found a tiny way of measuring 0.03 to 0.06 grams. A couple of months ago i used my batch from last year and i just ate 6 of the fun guys. that actually put a lot of emotion into my throat area/tension/excitement and my friend and I felt warm and fuzzy. we tried to get it on but bless him he couldnt at all and was very fucked off. but that's a common effect sadly.
cheerio, xx ila

there is a sister of liberty caps, that has a tiny amount of hallucinogen in them. You may have them, i'm not sure.
But those are definately not liberty caps. the gills are too light coloured and more than anything else the gills are too spongy and fleshy. I can't seem to open up the latter two pictures, so i can't see if they have any nipples or not - it doesn't look like it. if none of them had any nipples then that is a big tell tale sign they can't be magic. Occasionally the liberty caps don't grow nipples, or are hard to see but you have to go by the family surrounding them closely that do have big nipples to take that gamble.

Absolutely zero luck in or folk so far. I'm from Yorkshire originally and the habitat down here is completely different ti what I'm used to. I would normally find on moors.. No luck in the fields down here..
