Found a good few libs today. But I also came across a few of these growing together. I decided they aren't libs but I picked one anyway for obvious reasons... the resemblance is crazy! Has anyone ever seen these before and of so do you know what they are?

Well I have been mushroom picking in excess of ten years and not poisoned myself once (that's not quite true I did eat raw fly agaric in the French mountains and was quite ill afterwards)
I'm taking them over me mates and he can give me his opinion as well and then we're gonna eat them or probably brew em, so if I don't get back to you tomorrow then I'm probably dead, if not I'll let you know how we get on

Back in the days when I used to toke, my mate sometimes used to bring weed from Bradford, he called it "Blues" or "Blubs". Is this the same strain? It was very strong, had intense smell, always made my legs become soft. Smoking it always made me gag for some reason. Me and others have puked after smoking too much of it.

I'm 99% sure that this is a sterile Liberty Cap. Sterile means it has no spores, which in regular caps are responsible for gill coloration.

You should not need to travel north man, just came back after finding a lovely expansive lib habitat thats only 30m, and last years habitat is starting to fruit and thats only 8m. My advice is focus on the sheep fields all my luck comes from them.
Got around 100 and only had about an hour of day light until it got too dark to see them, considering im still working outside in my shorts and vest its still early days for SE. But when ever that rain comes back again its going to be caaawaaazey!

Hi everybody. Been following the forum for a couple of years but never posted. Just to see how people are doing around the NorthWest with this dry spell and rise of temperature, I have found little this season.
Last couple of days had some decent rain. Any of you think thats enough to get our little friends to start fruiting again?? I am out nearly every week on usual spots and finds are minimal.

Today I learned it can really be worth going out even for a short period to check potential new habitats! It appears I have found the only spot I'll ever need, quiet, beautiful views of the sea and the only people there are picking shrooms! I nearly gave up looking for the fields I had seen on google maps after going through woods, a golf course and privet roads (turns out I parked about 200m from a public footpath going straight into the fields but I only discovered this later). Once I finally found the field and headed in I came across a bloke walking his dog and he asks if I'm picking shrooms. A bit thrown I said "well I'm having a little look
