About the fly agaric, I saw on a random bit of tele i was watching with that guy from time team hosting that the richer folk would get the 'town idiot' to consume the fly agaric, he would experience all the dodgy shit like nausea then they would get him to piss in a pot and drink his piss and not have the hardships he did.
If the television said it gots ta be true.
Couldnt find the one i meant, found this and made me laugh though!

I've been thinking about it for a long time. I know that there are some ladies here. It is hard to tell judging by their user names. Also English language doesn't make it obvious who is male and who is female.
I will show my nipples if they do there's look at these bad boys

This is my first time posting here but I've been checking regularly for a while now! Anyway i had been hunting earlier this month in the common terrains, sheep's fields, cow fields, pasture land ect with no luck. So today I was walking with a friend of mine who's been picking a while and as I were telling him about me having no luck we stumbled across a nice little patch of grass with around 25 or more libs along with other species. The grass were in a housing estate built about ten year back, it faces onto a train track and a couple metre away is a beck /stream at the bottom of a banking, the grass is walked past regularly by dog walkers. I thought I'd add that info as its always helpful to others it was also around half 12 this morning, dew still on the grass and we had bad fog that morning too, also it was around 100m above sea level! Also if someone could Id these for me
 Happy picking!

Dunno where you're based, but I've always been a bit cautious about going on horse fields (unless they are poikey ponies) as horse owners can be super protective and getting the pigs on you for tresspass coulc quickly lead to a charge for possession ontop

True that. But also cow fields hold different dangers: cows themselves! Some cow herds are really agressive! I have once only just managed to get away from them. They were jumping up in the air lie antelopes.

sillycybeh - yeh thats why i pick at night.. find the fields in the day but harvest any finds at night - im like a mushroom vampire with ninja tendencies
DR - yeh fuck picking amongst a herd of cows lol... horse get treated better hence why there better with us humans in a field....
TYKWONDO - the firey stuff u mention of, was this around a hindu lookin person? like a painting but alive.. it was vision of a cinematic life of a hindu god that had fiery eyebrows cartoonish like, but the vision quikly changed to get much of a grips on shit..but yes its tru the ancients knew there shit due to true hallucinations of the divine from eating entheogenic plants - wasnt all superstition.. Egyptians considered mushrooms as sons of the gods and only kings where aloud to eat them... so with the visions one gets and knowing this pulls it 2gether for me on where this shit originated from, on the Gnosis received by pagans, ancient hindus, celts and mayans aswel (not the later kind, but the ones the built the temple of the sun)
Zakery - About the fly agaric, yep ive herd of the piss drinking thing with the Siberians etc,im not doubting the effects, i just ment that im not sure i belive it was significant in religion due to its annoying way of processing when one can simply eat a psilocybin mushroom and be tossed straight forth into the divine channel of light with no trouble at all........................ if it was any it was the Psilocybin kind not the Muscimol kind... i think its a deliberately done to deture away from the truth.. all you have to do is look at mosks in turkey and they look an awful like cubensis or young psy Mushroom Pins to me... check yourself.. - if any chemical is the closest thing to idea of understandin magic and "god" (carful of the perception) it would be Psilocybin and DMT - the fungi, plant and the tree for life here on earth - if anyone has any botany knowledge they kno what im getting at
ozmento - i gave some great tips maaaaaan - gooooogle eaaaarrttthhhh + kno what ur after, soon as u get one ul know what they look like for life and spot them a thousand miles away... not unless u mistake one for a little slug like i sumtimes do
those that cant find.. keep trying like i had to... make a day of it - carry cash and a tent if you have to... - if you have ties book a holiday lol
Pineapple - they aint evil just coz it dont provide you with a true psychedelic experience dont make em evil , they serve a positive purpose to the roots of the trees its native to - as do 95% of most species of fungi the other 5% takes more than it gives back to the roots and as a result the tree dies -- either way the roots are dependant on mycelium ... but the fly agaric is not a killer of trees.. so far from evil , maybe evil on your gut if you dont use the effort to be rid of delirious toxins - if it wanted u to eat it , it wouldnt contain the shite ... a bee has been giving a sting for a reason an important role - natures own bio robot that serves the plants as an example... aka dont fuck with what task i have been given otherwise il sacrifice my life to sting you.. - if you are a good person you wouldn't want that for it .. - is the message

Im always paranoid about animals trying to attack me when picking, Im always just ready to counter whatever the fuck they do and try knocking them out with a kick to the chin, but Im not sure if they will get knocked out (as a human would) or if they will just get even more aggressive lol but I certainly aint gettin kicked or trampled on by a horse/cow/bull.

Has anyone had luck in the south? I'm on the Isle of Wight, been out a few times scouting for spots but I've not found a single Lib. The weather has been unseasonably warm and there hasn't been much rain, but there are other shrooms growing. I've searched around Brading Down/Nunwell Trail and Adgestone area, but the latter is mostly marshy area and probably not elevated enough. I had my first experience of being shouted at by a farmer too!
One thing we do get a lot of is these monsters.

I picked up a few of these about 10 years ago, dried them out and ate them, and nothing happened. About 5 years ago I bought some dried from a shop, ate them, and nothing happened... Am I somehow immune to their effects? I wasn't taking small doses.
I've heard that certain methods of drying Fly Agaric are better than others, does anyone have any tips for drying them out?
Full album of my finds today here.

Hello, first post, new to the site and the subject.
Done a lot of research and went picking yesterday and this morning. I'm in Yorkshire and went to a spot around 290m above sea level, tried all sides of the hill as I had read to look on both east and south-west facing fields (SW seemed more successful).
Found lots of different mushrooms, and plenty of what look like libs. Didn't want to get too many in case I was wasting my time though.
Can anyone confirm these?

Thank you all for the information already provided on these forums, it's a great resource.

All liberty caps
-------------------- I give you the choice of 2 pills.
With each containing one of the following: Cyanide... Psilocin... Would you take the risk? Didn't think so. This is why Positive Identification prior to consumption is important.
