Bit of luck today near the south coast, in a field leading upto a river a few minutes from home! Checked it on the off chance and found a handful, i have separated them into ones i'm pretty certain of, and ones i am less so (bottom).
Would anyone care to comment? Little bit baffled by the ones on the bottom sheet of paper which fan out at the bottom.

Thanks for your help!

Thanks in advance!

Both yes!

Hey, newbie to this site (literally just joined after seeing this post)
I'm very much into psychedelic exploration and am currently looking for libs to no luck!
Anyone in the Yorkshire area fancy giving me some pointers, good areas etc that would be awesome!
I'm about to go sit by fire in the woods - there's a farmers field next to the spot I often camp (sheep) will have a look around while i'm there..
for now thanks for the hospitality and journey well

The gills and the purpley brown spore print gave it away for me. And the orange shade of the nipple, plus if you look in the pic where it is being held it doesn't look unusually big if i'm honest. Although rare many libs can turn out like this!

Hi guys,
First post here, been lurking for the past 2 years. No luck last year but decided to have a little wander around my (London) area and I think I've found at least 2.
Would love to get your thoughts so I know if I'm on the right track.

TabithaTwitchit said: Thank you. The biggies look like libs to me except for the size and flatness. Also I'm not familiar with spore prints at all - what should I be looking out for?
A really jet black spore print will indicate a Panaeolus, although a lightish brown spore print will indicate Panaeolus Foenisecii.
And psilocybe semilanceatas spore prints will generally look like this

They have no spores.
I was speculating, because they ain't creating spores, since that's one less thing for them to do are they not creating more active chemicals? cannabis does it, if it doesn't create seed you end up with more yield, i know they're both totally different morphology but just a thought, probably not, but would be a nice extra fact to add to the pile if we could get it tested somehow
Blazeyy what do you think causes then Mushrooms to be sterile and I've tripped of 40 of them before they gave me a right kicking lol

Just back from a successful hunt, finally! Got some advise from one of the lovely members here about how to hone in on a good spot or part of a field using little hints like the spiky grass and so on...so out to the Mendip hills I went today and had a bloody fantastic time in the sun searching around I stopped at a field which was on the way to where I thought would yield well and headed in through the public footpath bit (bonus, no one can shout at me) no sheep in the field at the time although plenty of shit, maybe a week old. After glancing the field over I headed towards the spiky grass which sure enough was the wet part of the field, a bit to wet so I headed a couple meters up from the grass where the ground was wet but not sodden. After a minute or two of looking they started waving at me lol. For the first time every time I looked at the ground I saw shrooms, loads of them, well by my standards anyway so I finally have a spot! Alitute was about 250m or so, so I've got no habitat picture, I forgot my iPad!
Got two questions for you lot... 1) when would it be a good idea to head back there? Nearly all I picked were mature and semi dry so would have spored. Yay 2) do I have enough for a strong trip? No dry weight yet but I've got them in a dehydrator at 35c. I've got a high tolorence to drugs on the whole but never tripped properly. I want to see aliens if possible lmao, I'm not scared

Sod counting them lol, they are dry now and I have 9.88 grams dry will that do? Also glad I read the post about a dehydrator for the bugs...gross! I hate fungus gnats, they have complicated many weed grows in the past. So what dry weight is sensible for a strong trip and does weed affect it because I smoke quite a lot...

I did 2g dried libs last night, grinded to a powder and soaked in lemon juice for 15mins.
Strongest trip of my life! Most I've ever done before was 4g Cubes in lemon which was strong, but these libs blew it out of the water... unreal and eye opening
