Damn I was so sure on a couple of them! I did think location was a little unusual, was in a clearing in a woodland, but the shape of some of them and the colouration of the cap led me to think i had just gotten lucky! Back to the fields I go!

They are absolutely close lookalikes and would throw a new shroomer off for sure. Woodland your wasting your time you want sheep fields with some altitude (not always too much) this is your best bet.
Wait for the rain though IMO, it's been a little dry these past few days.

Yea I just thought I had got lucky with this patch haha, there are a few pastures around I need to check but they are by busy roadsides, I'm itching to get my first big haul! Also I have got some cool photos of some various non actives, is there anywhere I can post them just for fun?

Predicting a nice first proper flush for your area @ 19th 15th in mine. Liberty cap weather man
20th for me? Northamptonshire please say it gonna happen
Maybe bit earlier, go on google and get your area type your town and 'temperature' an from there note note not just the temperature but everything mostly the rain as it drops the ground temperature by few degrees so what is actually -20 could be -14 in the libs eyes, the air temp can be up to 23-24 now n again, that's fine note the best time usually from 4-22 degrees daytime 1-13 night with rain, usually a day or so after you see rain, maybe, 18-22 sep looks good, we all really need rain n we're good when my south slope fruits usually the whole country does so i'll go today with a doob n see how it's going with just humidity n scattered showers, been fruiting all week with little to no rain on my other spots cause of temp and dew-esque weather will update with anything need charge camera
-------------------- I give you the choice of 2 pills.
With each containing one of the following: Cyanide... Psilocin... Would you take the risk? Didn't think so. This is why Positive Identification prior to consumption is important.

Think the time has come for my first hunt of the season! Im in South East and have had a quality last two years so hoping for the same again if not better this year as this is probably the earliest I have been out.
My local fields are 115-130m above sea level and all have either sheep or horses grazing.
Will post any findings!

If someone could confirm them though that would be great thanks!

cheers Blazeyy, gonna keep checking my spots every few day as we have really chilly nights in here.
And... I found incredible spot today, also lurked in the web and it's confirmed that this spot is 100% fruiting with large amounts of libs.
I never wanted heavy rain so bad in my entire life ... Gotta keep checking that spot aswell.

Hi all, just joined. I wanted to post my first find down south from 6th September. I found this Guy on his own after 20 minutes at one of my spots. I was pretty happy considering how early this is for my area. Anyone else in the North Wilts/South Glos area had any luck?
