Well, apart from moisture and temps nobody really knows. There are some mysterious factors still to be discovered.

Im going to guess none of you think it might be something to do with Geo-engineering? HAARP works hand in hand with the Aluminium particles which are being sprayed into our atmosphere by reflecting the electro magnetic waves in which it produces up and down all over the environment.

Dont get me wrong, i am very ignorant about just exactly what is going on with our weather... and maybe its not effecting the Semis. But i know that they are fucking with the weather

I really want to understand what you were trying to say there, but I think I'm retarded or you need to word it differently.

Well, do you have any evidence?

Sounds like you are describing a cold front.  Ever heard of Occam's razor?

its coming to end for sure but - they should still be growing right up and until several frosts hit them.... but new growth has halted completely which is seriously odd - and I have a feeling its to do with this weather front that hasn't budged for nearly 2 weeks now.... I find it ironic that since then not much in the way of new growth has happened ! next week and the week after will probably be the last haul to have when temps normalize - we shall see!

wish I knew what effect them...

Yeah it's kind of weird this year innit!

I found a decent amount yesterday, some nice clusters. They're still out there. Turning colder on the weekend though with frosts and wintry showers, so the season could be coming to an end now. So make the most out of any hunting over the next few days!

Honestly i think people have been rampaging my spots, i keep finding random upturned shrooms everywhere.

It's odd because tripmonk is hunting on the opposite side nearly equal elevation to me and got a nice little haul there in comparison to me, even though it's identical in every way the moorland, i think it's even the same mountain range.

Never tell anyone where your spots are or even show them unless you can properly trust them.

I'm not arsed like cause i've got pure more ground to cover plus i've met a few people on here already and they're all sound as fuck so we'll all probably end up sharing spots eventually.

If the temps go up a bit i might have one last hunt, if not i ain't gonna bother it's too cold and the wind is absolutely dire up in the moors, you're literally getting blown about like an empty doritos bag.

Not been hunting for quite a while now and reading the thread I dunno if I should even bother  would be nice to go don't get me wrong and I don't care about the weather but if there's not gonna be anything there...

Still I had a lot of fun especially considering how late I started and my situation. What should I look out for that will make it worth to go picking again weather-wise? What kind of temps?

It's still perfect weather wise for libs bro. Plenty of the wet shit and temps not to cold. You've still got a decent  chance of finding more if you ask me :awesomenod:

Ahhh interesting thanks for that man, I'm still a novice so I didn't know what to expect time-wise. Maybe I'll get a few more picks in before the frosts!

I located 2 new fields when I went outabout 2 weeks ago and both had libs in them. 1 had 2 libs and the other had about 5. Not exactly the motherload but it is interesting that I have found some new potential places. Almost certainly known spots I would say but you have to branch out a bit.

In general very few liberty caps found this year. Very strange as people say. A couple of my other spots are being destroyed thus the reasoning behind finding some new places. I have not been back to these fileds and probably won't this year.

I do love the beautiful velvet grass, you can feel it is a totally alive entity underfoot. I love that healing feeling that comes from the richness of, dung, animal pee, mosses, mushrooms, grasses, mole hills, wild flowers and other organisms in the meadows. A wonderful rich sweet smell on some days. Such a precious thing, I really hope not too much of this dwindling ancient pasture is destroyed, it really is alive in a special way that recently grassed over areas are not. Especially since it took centuries and centuries to get like that. It might take 600 years for such land to be as bio diverse again.

If it ever could be.

To be honest I think the seasons probably done. A few of us are finding batches but we're having to venture out further than normal for them. Possibly to do with the fact new generations or more people going hunting, IDK..
Been a very strange season weather wise. Early start, late finish. Good luck next year to all.

Yeah, i think i've gained mad respect for this now me anyway i've learned so much and i've learned they will abuse you if you abuse them, still not had a proper trip this year me.

Had a few micros, but it's just nice knowing i have a couple of gram there for when i need it plus ive got so many people into mycology this year, getting people off the streets and into nature etc.

I've done my part, i do think they have little respect for some spots though, but it's better than me getting bollocked for sorting them out init which has happened a few times.

Learned a lot about life n mushrooms this past year, hunts have been up and down, some nice days some days the wind gets too much but overall a good season for me
