So these ain't psychoactive I believe?

No honey fungus are not psychoactive but if you like to eat mushrooms in a food way here's a decent source of info about them
http://www.mssf.org/cookbook/honey.html

Also purely my opinion but as a beginner I'd stay away from woodland based stuff and stick to liberty caps (fields) until you pick up key ID skills. Entirely your choice and you'll always have us as a safety net to ID anything but yeah man I'd stick to fields

i picked day and night... got there about 3.00pm left my other location at around 10.30 pm..

it had been raining on and off since Tuesday lastweek - yesterday the only day it didnt rain .... should be enough for several flushes and activate more of the mycelium....... the whole of uk should be getting rain right now as it goes....
3-5 days is how long i wait for (after pick) - yes it takes overnight to pop out but they guna be pins - 5days later thel be 3x bigger and mature - only IME though

ground due on some remote locations brings temps plummeting - heavy/meduim fog /mist soaks the ground like a large shower - rain not always required although will obviously increase the numbers - no expert but this what ive learnt so far

these spots are a 10min train trek and a 15min bike ride from the station... - efforts were made trust ... plan - ie google earth...

last time i went was thursday lastweek..... i like to keep 5 days apart atleast - its a journey so  - untouched spots will haul the same amount providing the ground keeps saturated then it be worth the travel....

goodluck

Went out today for a test-shufty to the spot where I got the haul of a life-time last year (~=400g *DRY* over several weeks) - we've only recently had the temps drop low enough this season, and last night/today has been the 1st real rain since then so I wasn't expecting much - I found 40g (wet through mind you) over a 1 hour period, with signs they'd been showing in low numbers for a while - I expect there'll be a lot more appearing this next few days though after the soaking that ground's just gotten, heheheh...

NW England, between 1500 and 2000 Ft ASL.

Took the camera along just in case but nothing really worth photographing yet - maybe next time!

Cheers folks and happy hunting, ',;~}~

Sounds like you did better than me! I found around 20 with signs of more to come.

My local spot is real long grass, wet shrooms are a nightmare to spot! Easier when dry!

Got yourself a nice spot, the ones I've found lately have generally been small. Good luck to everyone over the weekend, the weather has been nice to us.

got around 5 spots now - didn't get a chance to finish ... yet 2check a golf course next door with libs on unused paddock's - should b fun

fair to say I had left the spot I had found last year to focus on finding new ones just in case anything happens - safe to say a spot was overturned

all good once you work out spore radius - if there some in the area u kno that theres more close by within the area - also worth considering what the horses/sheep etc eat - spores survive there shit - another way of transport aswel as from hoofs.. - worth bearing in mind

cheers and u m8

A friend of mine went picking today and has asked me to post it on here for identification, the majority seem to be libs but if someone could pin point the ones that aren't she'd really appreciate it

Thanks in advance.

No such thing as strictipes they are all libs the spores are identical

I give you the choice of 2 pills.

With each containing one of the following:
Cyanide... Psilocin... Would you take the risk?
Didn't think so.

This is why Positive Identification prior to consumption is important.

This is one thing I have been wondering. What do you "spots" look like! Are we talking entire fields, or like mine, a 10x10 m patch in the corner.

Does this mean surrounding fields are more likely? Or the same field?

Nice man! look forward to hearing about your high dose experience when ever you do, did it turn out to be in the same field you was finding them in before with the aid of more rain? or is this a new spot.

Peace

Well yesterday I would say I abused the shroom, didn't mean to and after all the things I have learned about set and setting I ignored apparently, introduced my friend who never tripped before although I tried him on 0.4 last week as a taster, I know him really well and completely trust him, so I had 2.5 and he had 1.5, I guess through making sure he was ok it sent my head into turmoil, it was safe to say it was a bad trip, thought I was going to throw the shrooms i found and stop smoking etc etc, I feel different about it this morning, who is the person showing you these things? It feels like a performance or something specifically for you?  Certainly hated yesterday but it's taught me so much, just was less than pleasant at the time, still thankful to be back.

Used the lemon tek also.

I can't decide if this is what I'm looking for? Don't know if shrooms belong to the good side of life or the negative? Made me realise that by me not wanting to conform to society and that trying to be different may leave my brain ultimately confused, I just want to know what the purpose of life actually is and why we're here, but after yesterday I'm not sure I'm perusing the right path at all, I feel so much different to other people, I grew up without a mother and that trip showed me yesterday what an impact that has, I have never met anyone EVER that has had no mother, is this what life is about this warmth you get from a family that I've never had?

Crazy crazy day yesterday thought my head was gone forever lol, normality is underrated and just makes you realise what an actual fine balance it is between sanity and insanity

i find that mushrooms like to try and heal a problem if there is one buried deep... - they are not a recreational thing for sure and i think youv under estimate the power and true magic of nature and the forces that keep them governed ..

i believe mushrooms are the connection to the inner and external parts of nature.. they are completely independent organisms - almost too alien and yes the show is for you - you are an observer to it - an agender is set - how old r ya? the purpose of life i rekon - or was to become in tune and balanced with nature... - gardeners of the planet etc perhaps... the worlds become far to materialized and most have lost connection to the true inner spirit of what all originally was - not like the cleche spooky ghost kinda spirit - but the source of essence that gives way for its manifestation to the psychical - the intention..... i believe its about light and love initially.... the trees and fungi for example must work on a act of love otherwise they wouldn't be what they are and do what they do - without them we are fucked in otherwords... thats love unconditionally.. the purpose is to be the best you possibly can and rise above the fake bullshittery in a humble way and then to try and lead by that example .... be your own master of destiny ... look around and see the chaos - fuel it into art or music - find a purpose in yourself .. sorry about ur mum, i didnt ava dad.. - im a dad now and wouldnt ever do what that prick did..

anyway sometimes psilocybin likes to dig deep - u always have to be prepared for that.. - ultimately its a good intention once u realise what it is its trying to do...  heal the psyche imO and experience .. why preparation is vital and why i like eating them alone... i smoke no weed, no tobacco or eat sugar/meat and shit like that before hand...

i believe nature is a divine plan but not in the way you would imagine or think or what we have been led to think.... to me its a bio organic self transforming arrangement of pure intentful intelligence - i believe there are gods - but not in the way we could imagine - heaven is simply electromagnetic light and energy... earth in the material metaphor for hell..... - as its what you make of it and reflects your actions based on your desires and will...  - desiring is a type of pain - which causes a type of inner darkness for example, sex is something thats causes an uncontroable desiring edge with the woman you in love with - ha if she like to play games (control the serpent - then doesnt control you) - that kinda hell... not fire and cleche shit.. but the very things that are already present .. war, religion and money is a hell......it provides no answers for one and at the end of the day there is only one truth that is neatly contained in the centre of left and right like light running up the spine...

the stars are the intenful life givers - what ever is powering them (spiritually) is something just un imaginable - that goes for the whole thing - i believe we once knew the true origins and purpose - but many txts are either kept hidden or been burnt - if we knew we were apart of something much bigger it would mean that those people that knew would loose power... - psychedelics get you closer to the truth about nature more than anything ive ever known.. we have that inner lense for a reason and it is empowering...

either way sorry you had a bad one... i dont even so much a smoke a roll up when just coming on or reaching a peak.... i go by and listen to what is needed at the time... when i eat - i treat it like im allowing a mysterious guest into my matirx energy field of what i call home lol......

Essexscout - i ment like for example a horse or sheep is in one field with them on - they will get spores on them or inside them,,, if say the grazing animal gets moved to another field several hundred feet away to a new one - well those spores are gunna find their way into the ground for sure....

also the fungus gnat is also a spore carrier - the little white maggot that enjoys bathing and eating inside of the gill becomes one eventually and fly off to a new field perhaps with spores attached to it........ - all is connected is some way or another
