Nice man! look forward to hearing about your high dose experience when ever you do, did it turn out to be in the same field you was finding them in before with the aid of more rain? or is this a new spot.

Peace

Hi Guys...   Does anyone have any experience with this Blue shroom ?

Had a VERY fruitful day out in the sunshine....  Bliss  :mushroom2:

We came across what looks like a giant blue liberty cap!? or possibly Stropharia aeruginosa ?

Never found one this blue with a stalk this fat before ?
It looks cool as fuck..  but is it active/safe?

I give you the choice of 2 pills.

With each containing one of the following:
Cyanide... Psilocin... Would you take the risk?
Didn't think so.

This is why Positive Identification prior to consumption is important.

Nice one Kad, get em dry & enjoy!

To upload pictures just plug your phone into your computer via USB cable, copy the pics to your desktop, then upload them to the shroomery by clicking on the small 'Pics' tab under your username at the top left of the forum (under the 'Shroomery' banner), it will open a new window, click on 'upload' in the new window, browse for the file & then upload. Once uploaded you will have a link you can post in the forum.

Cheers man, I'll get that done

Hello geniuses of shroomery my first post here I found some mushrooms out in a wooded yet open-ish area growing out of some logs need some help identifying it please? Most of them had a ring around the stem toward the cap I think. And have started to bruise blackish/maybe blueish i was high af when i found them so it may be hard to recall all the surroundings completely.

Would really appreciate it some help off anyone who knows how to identify mushrooms or has a good idea of what it could be. Apologise if it's in the wrong section as they aren't liberty caps but if it really itches your nipples please say so.
Please let me know if more information is needed to ID.
Thanks peoples.

Hey Blazeyy noticed you're in the manchester area, i'm quite new to this wanted to ask you if liberty caps or any other shrooms you know of would still be about the area at this time and in the next week or two?
Also would you be so kind as to point me in the direction of any good spots in Manchester or any areas around the Airport/Cheshire area, Cheers mate.

Still if it does finally actually rain soon I have high hopes for my picking. I've been so worried about not finding enough for a level 5 trip once a month till next season I've gone and bought a load of cultivation stuff and some golden teacher spores!

Hey guys. Pissing it down in sunny Yorkshire. Worth a look in the fields tomorrow or should I give them a miss for a day? I heard somewhere not to look the day directly after rainy nights.

Safe.
AFAIK all the hills in Manchester will have liberty caps, the pennines are all good any part will do, you want sheep fields and we should be good to go from here on out we had a dry spell the past week which has slowed fruiting but it's pissing it down right now so should be childs play from weekend on-wards, you will find some right now but i'd recommend the weekend for a big haul also by then it will be much easier to find them.

Follow the sheep and one shall find. :douchewink:

Manchester season is usually late July to early December with the first proper flush coming around Mid/Late August but fruitings here and there begin a month prior.

We're in peak season now so you're just in time.

Yay it's raining here in Bristol! I've been watching the forecast for the last two months and day after day, week after week it's just dryness! Great for sanding and varnishing window frames but rubbish for mushroom picking...so bad in fact that even my local damp woodland had dried to a near crisp. Anyway now everything's finally wet and with a few more rainy days ahead the weekend should be a fruitful one, especially with the temps in the range it's in ATM so with any luck new spots will be advatising their wares from a far and will make tracking the little sausages down a touch easier. It's all very exciting lol

Haha I don't know how common it is for psilocybe semilanceata to be referred to as "little sausages" but I find the term quite fitting..

Hello brother. Ive thrown these in the mix before as, in some cases, they do resemble very closely the bigger liberty caps you sometimes find so why waste them? They may be strictypes which I read aren't iffy anyhow. If you're worried sling them and look for only the classic thinner bodied ones. Cheers, YA

Looking at the weather and will be out tomorrow somewhere, I don't think theres need to wait longer, Ive found them in steady numbers in the dewy sections of dry ground all on the same level and think a day of rain will trigger them widespread now. Its peak time so why wait?

Expecting bigger. fresher specimens in the wet!
