Dry vs Fresh Mushrooms?

I'm trying to figure out if there is a difference between dry vs fresh mushrooms as in potency-wise. Like I know fresh mushrooms weigh more so does that mean they last longer/are more potent? Or does the same mushroom that is fresh have the same effect as it does if it's dry?

I couldn't give you the science, but I've always found fresh to be more potent. Like, if I took a 3g wet mushroom, I found I would start tripping faster and harder. Likewise, if I took that same mushroom and dried it down to .5g (estimate) I would not feel it as strong and it takes longer. This is just for me though, I can't speak for everyone. All my best times have been with wet. With dry I can just eat more at once.

Psilocin breaks down quicker than psilocybin. Dried shrooms are more concentrated. It's a trade off. I have only eat'n fresh shrooms from grain cakes, they were star gazers and not that potent. I prefer dried so far.

Wet always give me a better stronger trip IMO. I think it's the added psilocin and baeocystin that gives them a slightly different trip

You can trip on a half gram of dried? Fuckin' hell that is not doing anything to me.

Me too. I just choke 'em down. They taste like shit but fresh would mean choking down a lot more of shitty tasting mushrooms

back when I first started eating mushrooms, I actually somehow, someway enjoyed the taste (whether wet or dry)
nowadays it's quite the chore/challenge getting them down

It isn't as bad but you have to eat a lot more of them. I prefer to get it over with as quickly as possible.

True. Dry with peanut butter is really easy for me to take down. It's almost impossible for me to eat 4-5 grams just straight up

It is gross as shit but I just choke 'em down to get it done with. I've never puked them back up though I have wanted to from the taste. They really are awful. I always just consider it prepaying my penance for my indulgence.
