I wasn't sure where else to put this thread, here seemed most appropriate. I'm interested in finding out what species of acacia this is, and whether it's a DMT/psychoactive plant or not? I've taken some photos of the flower, leaves and trunk, hope someone can help.
Thanks!

Thanks everyone. From what I can tell, it's not an active plant. I'm aware of at least 3 or 4 other species of acacia in my local area, I'll put up some pics over the coming days to try and ID them.
Cheers.

Why searching local area when you can go to a nursery?

Really? I couldn't find much info to confirm either way so I assumed it wasn't an active plant. Anywhere I can find out what, and how much it contains?

I stand corrected. But I've also just discovered acacia bark can be purchased on ebay, which I'd never really thought of, definitely saves a bit of fucking around with stripping wild trees.

If your original intention was to strip wild trees, please reconsider.

Yeah it was, but I have reconsidered, mostly due to aforementioned fucking around. What are the other reasons?

The other reasons are that it's against our forum rules. People who show intention of taking plants, or in your case stripping them, from the wild, private property or otherwise will be banned.
Stripping native trees of bark is harmful to the tree and in most cases it's illegal.
You should of read the forum rules before you even posted here. I suggest you do so before you post here again. We're a forum about growing plants to be sustainable, not stripping native trees to get high from. That's destructive and unsustainable.
