I always mix it with cinnamon applesauce. It cuts the flavor pretty well and just slides right down the throat.

I think apple sauce and yogurt ended up being my ex's best way.  She started using it for back pain, but just couldn't put up with the nasty side effects of the kratom.  She said overall an ibuprofen 800 worked better for the pain then the kratom did.

I forget what strain is best for pain, but probably a more sedative one. I've had success with green vein Bali for a more stimulating effect. I don't have chronic pain so I can't attest to that.

Green sand = ground up plant matter.

I've had like 6-7 different strains, thinking maybe I was just getting the wrong stuff.  At best I would get a mild nod like feeling and an itch....it never agreed with my stomache.

Anyone who tried it I knew IRL, mine or theirs, had upset stomache symptoms.  I would vomit if I ate anything on it, and when the plant matter came up it was so dry and awful......the stuff does not wash down with anything.  I tried every prep method I could think of......spaghetti sauce, coffee, tea, parachuting, pill capsules, milk, water, you name it......it tastes so rank and just floats on whatever you mix it with, gets stuck on the inside of your mouth, or you have like 15 gel caps in your stomache....

Aw man, sorry this leaf doesn't seem to mesh well with ya. What were you taking it for? Simply just to get high/catch a buzz on? Or for some specific use?

Personally this leaf is like my panacea....It melts away anxiety better than bezno's do for me. Completely takes away all my little aches and pains. Gives me energy and absurd amounts of stamina unlike any other herb/drug I've used, and with out making me feel like I'm on one or spun out on a stim. It helps me sleep wonderfully. It gets me out of my head and makes me more social. It keeps me from dabbling with pharm-opioids as often (I still touch opiates or H a few times a year, here and there every few months, never had serious probs with them though).....Not to mention the leaf is loaded with anti-oxidants and tons of other health benefits.

I can go on and on about this leaf, it's brought nothing but goodness to my life and I hold it in high regards. If I went to a DR with all my little issues I would possibly be prescribed a benzo, and/or adderall, and/or an anti-depressant, and/or a mild pain killer....But this leaf takes place off all those things for me, does the job better, and with out majorly fucking with my neurochemistry or my bodies homeostasis. With the amounts of leaf that I take every day I feel "normal" and as if I'm not on anything at all, just a general feeling of well being and tranquility. That's not to say, though, that high doses won't have me feeling a bit warm and fuzzy and or on the verge of nodding (depending on the strain), but I don't often dose that high as I like to keep my tolerance in check.

The stuff never makes me nauseated either....I always take it on an empty stomach, and I take it by dumping the powder right onto my tongue then simply taking a drink of water and washing it down. No issues.

My results may not be typical.
I have never taken enough kratom to be out of my comfort zone. I completely love the earthy taste (0.5 to 1.0 gram in flavored coffee or water, I don't measure). I have 24/7 body aches, but kratom seems to help me feel better without interfering with anything.

For me, it is borderline being unnoticeable with no noticeable side-effects and no addiction potential. I do not consider Kratom a useful substance to be used for getting "as high/wasted as possible", for those who have that intention. I feel that prohibiting me from having access to this, would be completely stupid.

My technique for ingesting kratom goes like this:

-boil 1/2 cup of water (only half so the fucker is boiling withing 20 seconds)
-put desired amount of kratom in mug
-put enough of boiling water just to wet the kratom, about 2 tablespoons for a 6 gram dose (this way it wont "float" the boiling water is the same reason you add hot water to chocolate milk powder rather then cold)
-quickly add enough cold water to chill the kratom to a temp that allows chugging
-chug her down.

If the hot water is followed by cold within a minute, there isn't time for the kratom tea to taste like shit. Also the grinds don't feel like sand since they aren't water bogged yet. Since I've shown my mates, they all do it the same way. The women would always sit there and agonize over the taste, eventually allowing the kratom teat to sit for 15 minutes, and eventually taste like sandy shit.

This is a great technique because it is relatively unoffensive, and very easy to do before your eyes properly open in the morning.

Does anyone have a cure for the horrible shits? I think Kratom is giving me hemmhroids, cuz its just terribly painful. I consume a large amount of fiber (flax and raw veggies) and drink a large amount of water.

Kratom sucks.  It's just awful.  Nothing like being in pain, and trying to take something to relieve it, and then missing the dosage and getting sped out and jittery.  Not too mention puking green sand, and shitting green sand on a constipated belly suck.  It may be safer then opiates, but it's about as effective as gas station toilet paper......like it works.....but it's cheap and almost worthless, and terrible on your butthole.

I'm sorry your experiences were bad, but you shouldn't generalize like this. I've never had any of these things happen to me, and I've found the high to be extremely similar to vicodin/percocet, but without the dizziness, itchiness and weird stomach feelings. I've had slight nausea, but only on doses upwards of 5 grams, but I was also nodding hard. For me, a dose of 2.5-4 grams is pretty much like the best parts of percocets minus the bad side effects.

Taking the powder can suck if you don't do it right though. The best method I've found is to mix the powder into cinnamon applesauce and then just eat that. It hides the taste and texture, and is painless as long as you don't mind eating green applesauce :p

I've never been addicted to opiates, but if I was and then wanted to get clean, I'd imagine Kratom would be a HUGE help.

Only time i managed to receive kratom was when a mate brought it over for me, being a chronic pain patient i decided to give it a shot. 5 grams of mang da mixed in with a vanilla yoghurt was pretty nice, certainly some relaxing effects along with the slight urge to sit down and zone out my pain was certainly not bothering me.

But Australia has any kind of kratom banned for import so i doubt ill get to experiment and find out if it could truly help my pain, instead ill shove mouth fulls of ms contin down my throat.

Kratom is so benign. Every time I've tried it I've been underwelmed. Even at high doses I just felt a slight relaxation.
