Are the stones active? do you isolate em before fruiting?

Considering the stones are turning blue I'd suspect they are active. I've only seen pics of large cinctulus sclerotia in one thread here at the shroomery and the user didn't really give many details. (a link to that thread can be found somewhere on page 1 of this thread)
It seems the shroomery is having problems with pics today. I didn't actually delete the latest photos I uploaded.
Here are a couple shots of the same mycelium in corn, this shit is freaky looking. I honestly can't even say for sure if it's healthy or not, and it looks as though the corn might be drying out on me.
Any thoughts?

I do grains and brf at 12psi just fine 
Not a contam yet with this PC and ive done 4 pints of grain (white corn) and about 50 cakes.

awesome, I just found a shit ton of pan cincts at school today, and I am gonna try and produce some sclerotia as well! Never knew this about Pan. cints

I have no idea if this project will actually produce edible stones. I wasn't even expecting to see anything like this, just expected normal mycelium growth.
I should also point out there is a good possibility that this is actually olivaceus and not cintulus. The link below shows the mushrooms I used to make the syringe.

Weird they always mention species like jalisco atl7 tamp but never pan.cinc although jalisco is a poor stone producer.
