Small tan/pale orange spot
    #21994102 - 07/25/15 08:41 AM (8 years, 6 months ago)

so my friend just birthed 4 brf cakes after 35 days of colonization. He noticed this and wasn't sure if it was contaminated. To me it looks like discoloration but not sure. The spot hasn't spread and it's just isolated to right there Help? Also idk if this would help but he said cakes came out wet to the touch and at some parts mycelium was so fluffy and wet that some came off onto his hand when handling it. The strain is also pf classic.

Those look like bacterial blotches. How does the cake smell? It should be able to fruit for a couple of flushes before anything serious shows up. :goodluck:

It smells perfectly normal. No sour smell, nothing.

Then your good to go, put it in a well-made SGFC, make sure it's at least 2ft from any wall to maximize airflow, and mist/fan daily!! Happy fruitin' :awethumb:
