1500 lbs of premium Nebraska oat straw! That would make a few bags, eh?

Is it easy to roll or do you need a forklift to move it anywhere?

Definitely have to have a forklift. It's actually my brother-in-law's. But he lets me take some off of it anytime I want. And it's stored inside so it doesn't get rained on or anything, which makes it nice.

Definitely a great stash to grab from.
What do you plan on growing on it? Oysters?

Make a nice grain slurry and inoculate that whole thing. Looks like a nice clean bale. Just the way i like them.

I'm doing pink oysters on straw now. Because temperatures here are 90-100°. When the temperature gets much cooler, I'll try king oyster mushrooms.

That's pretty sweet! I live right in the middle of farm country, so I'm sure I could find one of those. I don't need anything that big though. I just do a few little bags at a time. You'll get a kick out of this, but I just use kitchen sheers to cut up my straw!
