do you have friends that are just convinced by conspiracy? Like i have a friend whos watching conspiracy vid all the time. he watches it in english even tho he doesnt speak it that much . sometime were just chillin on my couch on youtube smokin bowls watching fails then hes like dude i got to show you something!! and starts like a 800views , 2h documentary about a nazi base on the moon and starts explaining these bullshit to me.
i literally have like 4 friends that are like that . they are convinced by such bullshit documentary its horrible. Its always like a single dude talking the entire documentary relying dots leading to reptilian rulling the world or take your higher consciousness with meditation and god
i sometime tweak with them and at the right moment and place and people the conspiracies reaches level never seen before. i tried to show em its fake or it makes no senses and that these dudes that makes the documentary are nobodys and doesnt know shit. but they give me a 1 hour speach and then restart the video...
I know there are allow to believe anything they want but isnt it unhealthy for grown mans to do so ?what can you do with those people when they are your friends ? do you tell them its full of shit ?

I have a friend who is all about the connection between the illuminatti and the music industry. And I mean ALL ABOUT it. He makes pretty compelling arguments, but sometimes it's just a little too much.

it depends on the particular event or idea, whether or not it should be seen as delusional but even incredible stories like the US government's assassination of MLK Jr. was proven in court to be true things like secret bases on the moon or the hollow earth theory, we can only know so much, so focusing on it won't reward anyone
my point is, do thorough research on particular events or theories, with a fully open mind, and judge for yourself. If someone disagrees with your opinion, it's because they've heard/read otherwise, or not read, or just don't think it's possible, and need proof. each is perfectly fine. Conversation and research are great, but many things we'll never really know for sure (true or not)

That's 95 percent of the problem right there. Going on some crazy website isn't research and most people who believe this shit are not smart enough to be able evaluate a sources legitimacy. People who don't listen to what the "mainstream media" tells them seem very eager to listen to what some crank with a youtube channel says. Critical thinking is far more important than an open mind these days.

In all fairness, the music symbolism is a lot more suspicious and convincing than a nazi moon base.
And socially, natural news is quite sensationalist, but when it comes to food and health the guy knows his shit.

But yeah, pretty much... just because it's a conspiracy theory doesn't automatically make it nonsense... the government is well known for pulling stunts... remember that time the CIA got caught trafficking cociane in a c-130 into the country? pepperidge farm remembers...
some conspiracy theories turn out to be true.

I dislike monsanto as much as everyone else, but without any context, that quote might just be him pointing out the anti-gmo hysteria and that no one would want to buy anything labeled as gmo, because people are afraid of "chemicals" and "unnatural" stuff.
The nutrition side of that site might have its heart in the right place but goddamn if it's not full of pseudoscience bullshit like antivax, alkaline diets and the usual virgin coconut oil / raw milk wankery.

Yess, that really much i think they just dont have the ability to find the right information.
i do belive some conspiracy are true but like what is the point to study or understand that. what will you do when you find the truth ?? go tell the government??

I really think you are confusing The Secret with What The Bleep.
The Secret is the newage mumbo jumbo that you can have everything you want if you only wish for it.
What The Bleep mostly is scientists philosophizing about that the findings in their fields could mean for the real world.

Let me guess, you never actually seen What The Bleep in its entirety, you either formed your opinion on it based on a short clip or what other people thought of it.
Did you actually spend an hour and a half watching What The Bleep?

I watched it. Many years ago. Why are you trying to undermine my opinion by claiming I didn't watch it? Just accept that I watched it and formed an opinion that is different than yours. (I've even met one of the professors in the film, one of the believers was in my physics department. His office was usually empty and dark... lol)

This is exactly what I've been saying from my first post. It's sensationalist.
But when it comes to nutrition and dieting there is a lot of valuable information he shares.
