CULTIVATION i read CHITINASE helps for hydridization as an alternate to rattlesnake venom.
assuming pH is neutralized from tomatoe acidity (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chitinase Chitinase occurs naturally in many common foods. This is at least one cause of the cross-reaction phenomenon in latex-fruit syndrome. Bananas, chestnuts, kiwis, avocados, papaya, and tomatoes, for example, all contain significant levels of chitinase.),
what is the stable temperature range for the enzyme.
will Pressure Cooking destroy it?

Overall after reading your post on contamination forum, and this forum, I'd stay clear from h2o2. It also degrades in the pc. Not really sure why you want/need h2o2. Not sure if either snake venom or whatever your alternative is can survive the pc. If you're working on trying to work on germination/bacterial stuff, look up the agar sandwich, as well as stros forced hydration

there are some uses for h2o2, but its not going to survive the pressure cooker.
it degrades in light and heat.
also, the stuff from the pharmacy has things in it which are bad for fungi
gotta get food grade

i would love to get started on hybrids at some point.
it seems like there's an endless amount of things to do first

I grew a shroomery once.
Op if you're really interested in hybridization there are other ways to go about it aside from weakening and/or destroying cell wass.

Yeah hybrids require patience and preparation. Venoms and serial dilution is effective of course but that's really the easy part anyway. Stabilization is the hard part and that takes time amd generations.

mad season thanks those two teks are great to know
maddchef, that sounds awesome, more please
idea was to decontam without heat destroying chitinase and/or the H2O2 oxidizing/decomposing the chitinase.
i just read mold makes chitinase. perhaps let it take over, destroy it and use the chitinase, if it is left intact, to help hybridize.
please let me know about hybridization without cell wall weakening and about stabilizing, at least in general.
